My son and I used to play DnD at our local shop once or twice a month. Obviously, things changed the past few months. I wondered if any other kids are out there that miss gaming and would want to join us in a new campaign.
With this in mind I'm looking to DM for him and 4-5 kids in a new, ongoing game while most of us are pretty much trapped at home. The game would be either Friday or Saturday nights, from 7 est to 9 est. I'd like to use DnD Beyond and Roll20. We would probably use WoTC modules and campaign books. The age range would be from 9-12.
Parental supervision is encouraged, but not required. If there's room in the game, a parent or two could potentially join to mentor their kid.
Hi! This sounds like exactly what we are looking for. My kid has recently gotten into D&D. We bought the Starter Kit for her and have watched a lot of YouTube videos. She is working on building her own character. I used to play D&D during recess, which, obviously, was a long time ago. I would love to join in as well. My kid is nine, I'm much older :) Saturday would probably work best, but we are open to either night. I do have a DnD Beyond account, but haven't really used it yet. Same for Roll20. We are newbies when it come to the modern version of this game for sure. If this all jives with what your looking for, let me know! Thanks, Rachel
I posted on Roll20 as well and so far we have my son (9) and a young lady (8 1/2) ready to go. Your kid would be welcome to play. For the other kid, her mom is going to help out the first session or so. I think that's great and you're welcome to as well, but it isn't required. If you want to go on roll20 and search for Kidn DnD I can send your account the invite.
