Game style: We’re currently searching for players who are more interested in the role-playing aspect, simply because that’s what we value the most. The current segment of our campaign has been kind of espionage-centric, but we’re considering expanding into a more traditional magic and monsters situation. Mainly, though, we want something that the group as a whole can enjoy. If we get a good group of people together, and they’d rather continue down a more traditional path of adventuring, that’s great. Alternatively, if the group decide they would rather do something different from the traditional swords and sorcery action, that’s awesome, too. Basically, we’re trying to build an experience together that can be fun for all involved, so if you like the idea of collaborative storytelling, please consider responding.
Note: Our ideal players are new to the game and in their 20s (though preferred, that's not essential) who don't mind going a little off-script as the situation demands. Most importantly, though, in my experience, D&D has been a very tolerant space, but you must be able to be accepting of others. We'd like to be able to be friends beyond just the game, and for that to be possible, acceptance of others is a must.
Old post, but looking for a group myself and I fit into the parameters you've mentioned! I just made a post about this myself, and even though I'm new, I'm in my 20s and I want a collaborative storytelling group, with action, that is casual and doesn't get too bogged down in the details. Wanting to play Elven Barbarian Druid for narrative purposes. Could care less about "class optimization" lol. Please let me know if you need or would accept one more player!
I know its been a while since this post but I am getting into DnD as a very new player, and I am looking for a group. I am just looking for friendly-fun gameplay willing to tolerate my newbie-ness of the game as a whole. I am turning 20 this year so I am unsure how you feel about me just barely meeting the age perimeters. If your still looking for players I would love to hear back from you!!
