Game: D&D 5e Group type: Face-to-face Experience: I'm moderately experienced (3-ish years) as a player and have DM'd a few one-offs and short campaigns, but this will (hopefully) be my first long campaign! Location/Timezone: Providence, Rhode Island Schedule: Tuesdays from 3-8pm Roles sought: 5-6 queer/LGBT+ players, college age (18+) preferred (any experience level, just try to go easy on me as a fairly green DM!) Game style: This is an entirely homebrew universe and campaign that I've built from scratch (with inspiration and adventures from the Rolled & Told books) that I'm quite proud of! Expect it to be fairly roleplay-heavy with some small puzzles tossed in. I love building combat sections, but I like them to be polished and planned out (for the most part), so it'll be a bit less hack-and-slash. I'm looking for players who can build really interesting characters with nuanced backstories that give me some room to integrate them into the campaign! I've got a framework of a story worked out, but I absolutely love working in story arcs for different characters!
I'm looking for specifically queer/LGBT+ players (allies are welcome, but LGBT+ players are preferred) because I myself am queer and would love to get to know more people who share similar experiences and would like to play D&D in a welcoming and comfortable environment!
I have a discord server set up for the game, I will PM you an invite link if you've been accepted. Thank you for taking the time to read through all this!
I'm actually moving to Providence next week, and will be in search of a good group to game with. I'm a straight dude (so priority would clearly go to any LGBTQ folks who are interested), but if you have open spots for an ally, I'd be interested!
I've been playing RPGs for over a decade now, and definitely prefer a roleplaying heavy game, so yours sounds perfect. Would love to talk more at some point.
Game On!, in Warwick runs 6 tables of D&D on Wednesdays, start around 6pm (3 tables started yesterday), no Wifi. There's also two Providence MeetUp groups that play on Wednesdays as well (think their tables stay fairly full).
You'd absolutely be welcome at the table! I've managed to pull together a small group (my roommates and the shop owner of the place we play at) and we had one other friend, but he had to drop the game due to work. If you want to join I'm definitely still looking for more people!

This made me wish I lived in Rhode Island loll! Good luck!
Thank you! It's such a small state so I really hope to find some local players!
