System: 5e with homebrew elements

Experience: I’ve started playing since November 2018, so still fairly new but am learning a lot about the game. Part of an ongoing campaign and looking to join another.

Location/Time Zone: Eastern Daylight Time, New York

Availability: Either Thursday/Friday/Saturday, 8pm-11pm/12am

Role: Player

Character Idea: I’ve been really wanting to use this idea I have for a Kobold Ranger of the Beast Conclave. And although I do have plenty of other ideas that I can use, this is my first choice.

Game Style/What I Am Looking For: I’m just looking for a fun time. Don’t really mind any combo of combat, roleplay, and puzzle. I do love it though when the backstories of the player characters or plots related to them are used in the games.

I've been looking for a second game to play in for some time now and so far, haven't had much luck with getting something solid. So, I have been trying to keep an eye out for something that could work for me.

I am starting to attend classes again so I set my availability to what is stated above because that when I see me having free time. This can be subjected to change and things can come up in life that can make me unavailable. However, I will try my hardest to have and maintain a solid schedule. I also hope to not drag session on for too long, but don’t mind staying up a bit late.

I’m still fairly new in playing but feel like I am learning quite well. And since I am still new, I am looking for nothing too crazy/serious, just want to have a fun time with some nice combat, roleplaying, puzzles. I also love it when anything that relates to the player character’s backstory, or plots related to them come into play and our explored more in-depth.

As for what I plan to play I already have an idea for a character, Kobold ranger of the Beast Conclave, that I was using a bit in other campaigns, but has been very inactive so I wish to use him here. I also have a list of other characters ideas that I could use if needed. I can into more detail when we start setting everything up.
