What do you like to do during games?
The Missing Cleric Quandary
Scenario: You are thinking of joining a campaign that already consists of three players. Their characters include a fighter, a rogue and a wizard. They ask you to play a cleric because they need a healer. You (select one). Keep in mind, none of these are wrong answers.
a) happily roll up and play a cleric, filling in the role of a healer and show others that playing a cleric is cool.
b) create a cleric, but one that is more suited for another role (i.e. more combat-oriented) or one that refuses to be a walking heal-factory.
c) ask to play something else, because playing a medic isn’t your style. You suggest that the group find other means for healing (i.e. cohorts, dm-controlled cleric, healing potions and scrolls, etc.).
d) refuse to play anything but your own non-cleric character concept
Character Death
What are your thoughts on character death:
a) PCs should never die, unless upon agreement between player and story-teller
b) PCs death should be avoided by story-teller and player alike, due to the loss of story and momentum. PC-deaths should be limited to epic fights or really dim-witted player mistakes.
c) Death happens and is only a poor die-roll away.
d) The more gruesome the better! Let the body count rise!
**Should players be allowed to play evil PCs?
Player Conflict: What describes your threshold for intra-party/player conflict? (choose one)
a) All the PCs should get along swimingly. There should be no conflict aside from minor personality quirks and in-game quips.
b) Intra-party conflict should be avoided, but I’m OK if it happens.
c) I expect intra-party conflict to happen. I often enjoy it.
d) Some of the best games are when the players are at each other’s throats! I thrive on conflict!
