Hello! I'm kind of a new DM, and I'm looking to gain experience by branching out and trying out new groups.

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online (Discord, using D&DBeyond and Avrae)
Experience: New-ish (DMed a few short campaigns, played a few longer campaigns.)
Timezone: EST
Availability: Preferred time is Thursdays from 6pm to 11pm, but I am open to changes/suggestions/more frequent sessions.
Preferred role: Players. Minimum 4, maximum 7.
Game style: Casual homebrew, with the focus around 70% RP and 30% combat. As long as a few essentials are taken care of, it will be super laid back and chill.

Would be nice to have at least one person who is a veteran or super experienced; I'll update this someone like that shows up.

Once we have at least the minimum amount of players, we will schedule session 0 and set up a group, but I will still be accepting new joins until we hit 7.

Ive played more with 3.5 than with 5 back in the day and have had a couple of one shots with 5e. I haven't used Avrae all that much but will learn as I go aside from that I do prefer voice (over text) and grind maps help. Theater of the mind was great when I was younger but it only goes so far.
