New-ish player looking for group.

I am a fairly new player looking to join a group to play. I've only ever played 5e in person, but I'm eager to learn how to play over Skype or discord. I'm in the US Eastern time zone. 

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online / Face-to-face / either
Experience: Fairly new, played for a year about once a month
Location:  Maryland (USA Eastern time)
Availability: my availability us pretty flexible, but mostly evenings 
Preferred role: Player, although I would love to learn enough to DM
Game style: Casual with a balance between roleplay and combat.
