Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience:a few years Location/Timezone: EDT/UTC-4 Availability: Every evenings, except Friday Preferred role: Player, but would DM in the future Game style: Story-rich with little bit of casual and little bit of hardcore.
Hello everyone, I'm looking for a group who would like to play D&D 5e, I'm also willing to learn other Tabletops RPG, but right now I would like to play something I know. Right now I DM for my friends and I'm looking to have fun on the side without too much work. I speak with an accent(french), so I hope it won't bother you. I'm also willing to take backgrounds checks, because most games I tried online ended badly and I wish to give it a chance again on good terms. I welcome newcomers and veterans alike.
The Asendar Chronicles are a series of adventures set in the Asendar Campaign home brew setting. Prior to creating a character players will be expected to familiarize themselves with the world/setting. Details can be found in the game forum.
Each adventure may have permanent consequences on the developing game world. Rather than having one group of players involved in an overall campaign I would like to run a series of one shots or small series of adventures and track the outcomes of these adventures creating an evolving timeline for my home brew world.
Players may choose to play in one game but not play in the next and they may choose to use the same character throughout a series of games or create new characters as they go. These will be pickup games, first come first serve, so applications are not necessary but I will expect everyone to abide by the rules and policy posted.
Games will generally have four to six player characters. All characters will start at 3rd level and will advance in XP and levels as they participate in adventures.
CURRENT GAME: Something is Awry in Clear Creek
“Something is awry in the small frontier village of Clear Creek. Something islurking in the shadows, stalking the villagers, and now people are missing. No one has seen or heard from farmer Gallus or his family in weeks and people are starting to worry. Several hunters and trappers have not reported in either and may also have run afoul of something in the Wilds.
The local Sheriff, a weathered middle aged man named Tywin Gant, has sent the characters to check on the Gallus farmstead, deal with any threats that they may find, and report back. The Sheriff is offering a reward of 650gp to the group who is able to bring back proof that the threat has been dealt with.
This will likely be a combat heavy game with a significant chance of character death.
