Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Offline / Face-to-face Experience: New Location/Timezone: Nailsea/South West area (would prefer outside of Bristol). I have a car so I can travel (within reason) Availability: Weeknights/Weekends Preferred role: Player / DM (possibly, though inexperienced) Game style: Casual / RP
Hello all,
I am looking to try and find some players for a game of 5th edition D&D. I am based around Nailsea/surrounding areas, UK, and looking to setup/or join a group outside of Bristol(preferably) to ideally meet up regularly at a convenient location.
I'm thinking of participating as a player, though maybe can be persuaded to DM(though inexperienced I love the lore) if necessary/depending on group; but any available DMs please show your interest as we'd be honoured!
Open to players of any experience and age welcome. I myself am a late 20-something female who's always been intrigued by D&D but didn't actually get into it until starting to watch "Critical Role" and other similar streams online, but have been unable to find fellow D&D players who share the same enthusiasm and love of fantasy lore.
How do I register my interest?
Please either comment or private message me to ask questions/discuss any info.
Please specify:
Whether you'd be interested to be a player or DM
Your age/gender
Your approximate location/area
What your experience with D&D is (all levels welcome!)
What your potential availability is (e.g. weekends/week-nights, etc.)
Any idea what race/class character you'd prefer/like to play?(doesn't have to be decided yet though)
Hey, firstly, I'm at university at the moment so I'd be looking to play from about May-ish. I've been looking to get back into D&D, and didn't realize there were people interested around Bristol! So if that's OK, here's the CV:
1. Player, but I'm interested in DMing. If no-one else wants to then I will.
2. 23/Male.
3. Bristol - I have a car so I can travel (within reason).
4. Played online a year ago for several months, mainly 3.5. Inexperienced other than that.
5. I can be quite flexible on schedule depending on other players.
6. I thoroughly enjoyed the role of a human-cleric that goes around making everyone blind and hiding in the shadows. Pretty open though.
7. Not particularly, just looking forward to a spot of it's still open by then!

I picked up your topic from the Meetup Bath & Bristol RPG Group which I joined last week but have not attended anything. I live in the Chew Valley and prefer the idea of a group outside of Bristol, and Nailsea is convenient. I used to play AD&D many years ago and am now looking to find a friendly group to start again and learn D&D 5E.
1. I am happy to be either. I was mainly a DM when I played before. However, as I have not played the 5E rules I think I may need to be a player at least until I get used to them.
2. I am 52/male.
3. I live in Chew Valley and am happy to travel to Nailsea.
4. I used to play AD&D many years ago, mainly as a DM with friends. I recently discovered that D&D had a new set of rules and bought them out of interest. Unfortunately it was version 4E and I now realise that these have been superseded by 5E. However, it did serve to rekindle my interest in role playing and I am keen to find a local group to experience the 5E system.
5. I can do any mid-week night but weekends are difficult for me. I do travel away quite frequently for a week at a time so flexibility or a frequency of every 2 weeks or more would suit me better.
6. I am flexible over race/class. Happy to fit in to create a well balanced group.
7. Happy to meet up to discuss whether I would fit into your group.
Hi ThreeWolfCreek It's Peter, I've sent you a few message previously on Messenger. We moved to Nailsea this year I would welcome if i could join to a group.
I'd be interested to be a player
I am 38/male
Nailsea; have car, could travel to Bristol
I am a newbie to D&D but played some other RPG. Currently joined a group in Bristol to gather more experience.
I am available on Weekdays evening, and almost all the time on Weekends
I am more than happy to play a whatever would suit the team. Although I like the Monk and Warlock classes.
I love music, i am a non-professional musician. I would be more than happy to help the DM and other players if they need anything. Like source and paint minis and other accessories, prep some background music perhaps, etc.

Hi Sunxhi,
Welcome to the search!
And yes, that's the thing, I know that there are formed groups within Bristol but not much outside - hence this attempt, so we shall see what happens!
