The Question is what kind are you looking for. A table game means you would need to find players near you. A scheduled game means you would need to get together with others regularly. online can be either text based or vid audio based. Texted could be simple PbP [play by post] or chat.
There is an online web site called RPOL [Role-Play OnLine] that does PBP [leave a post and wait for the other players to take their turn. though it can do text "chat" as well. It is NOT JUST 5th Ed. D&D.. You kind find many kinds of Roleplaying games and styles of those games there.
Discord; has assorted servers that are 5th Ed. D&D based. If you don't want to feel pressured you might try a sandbox style to get your feet wet and learn some of the basics.. there are probably many but the one that I know about is Gaia https://discord.gg/5BBXUC If you have any questions after reading the rules don't be afraid to ask on "Public Chat"
