Looking for a teacher Denver area

I was always interested in D&D in High school, but never actually got into it. Don't really know anybody in Colorado so I especially dont know anybody who could show me the ropes. If you wouldn't mind taking in a newbie like me I'd love the opportunity

Look for a game store that hosts Adventures League. I've found they can be very helpful to new players

I'm currently looking for new players in the Westminster of Denver.
