I'm a fun dm and I like to have a good time. It's my job to make the players heros, and that's something I feel I am doing well with. I'm looking to run a combat and rp focused game with up to 6 players that are interested in a homemade story. Play will be Saturday's and will likely be a few hours. Groups or solo players accepted. Looking for players experienced with dnd, but it's not a necessity. Come join my world and have some fun.
Would love to join, in fairly new to dd, but still know the basic rules, so getting into a regular game would be nice. I still know how to play and I have multiple characters ready and I’d be down to role play for a game. I get super into character so it’ll be fun. Just lemme know the time zone so I know when we can do things.
What time zone and times were you thinking? Ive got a warlock ive been wating to play for awhile and been searching for a group. Also what platform. (Discord roll20 etc)
Well, color me interested. I have a bunch of characters I'm excited to play, and am flexible to play any of them as the party structure develops. Where do I sign?
Hey, I'm a DM with 5 years experience and work as an online presenter. I am keen to start playing again as all I seem to do right now is DM. Entertainment and role-play are what I love about DnD so if you can offer a rich and exciting campaign with player interaction, strong story arcs and player motivations, I'm all up for it. I look forward to hearing back from you and hope I can build a character that gives you a backstory you can work with.
Have you got any more information about the world, its characters and what to expect?
Eastern standard time, visual medium will be handled on roll20, the chat will be handled through discord. Due to apparent interest I will go as high as 8 players. Not this Saturday but the one in 8 days I'll consider session 0 to those interested where we can make characters and conversate. I'll say time starts at 11am, but as we near that time I might adjust that for those attending. Please be vocal if 11am est wont work for you, I'll try to adjust.
Myself and another player would love to join this campaign! I have experience playing d&d and would love to bring in a wholesome and charming human cleric. The other person doesn't have any experience, but I am showing him how to build a character and how to play d&d. Both of our Saturdays work, just let me know if we can join. Thanks!
I'll be available for this every other saturday and the visual medium will be on roll20. Discord will provide chat service. No mic required, but will make things faster. Session 0 can be as soon as next Saturday. I'll also go as high as 8 players for this since there seems to be a level of interest garnered here. I am in eastern timezone, but we can adjust start times if needed. Goals for session zero are to just pick characters, meet and greet type stuff.
Website seems to be acting funny for me, so I ended up basically posting the same response to everyone's interest twice since my first reply didnt show up to me earlier. Also, feel free to ask any more questions. I'll do what I can to answer. I'm not overly skilled with navigating this forum (possibly part of the reason I posted similar responses twice). You can always message me as well with questions. I'll be happy to answer
I would be interested in giving this a go. I have a character idea in mind, and can probably work it into a homebrew.
Any homebrew specifics people should be aware of? Roll D100's instead of 20's; setting is water world, so don't come with a caster who needs to be on land for 90% of there abilities; etc...
Campaign will take place in an entire world I've dreamed up, which I'll support with maps on roll20 I've made to reflect the physical setting. Combat will be done mostly through the roll20 service, but if you know how to broadcast your webcam through roll20 then I'll take your live dice rolls. The sessions will likely focus on combat and roleplay, and my world is dangerous. I'm leaning towards a start at level 1 for everyone so I have some freedom to throw things at you at low levels and ease some newer players into their character with light challenges. A poorly prepared group can fall with a few lucky dice rolls against a higher tier monster, but enemies at lower levels generally lack that kind of ability.
If you dont already have them, make accounts on roll20 and discord and get at least a couple character ideas and backstories in mind for session zero.

As for the homebrew rules question I saw, I follow the rules of dnd to the best of my ability. I dont plan on having a lot of homebrew rules.
Also, as situations occur where we dont have a clear answer on a rule in question I will put together something temporarily then conversate over discord about how we should handle it going forward between games. We will homebrew it as needed in this way I guess, just to flesh out stuff that's kind of ambiguous as a group. Essentially anything we need to make a ruling on, we can do together after the session in the interest of time.

Will the campaign be taking place in the Forgotten Realms universe itself, or is it homebrew, or something else?
