Hello, my name is Moony and I am starting a game of Ghosts of Saltmarsh on Roll20, we will also use discord for communication. The campaign is set in the world of Greyhawk, but I am very relaxed on races, classes and other homebrew content.
Unfortunately, due to personal reason I won't be talking via voice chat, and instead I will opt to type. Whether this means everyone types, or if the players voice chat and I listen in, either way works. I have played in the past in both ways and they all work.

Reason for Wanting to Join: I’ve been interested in dungeons and dragons for a long time, but because of the location I live I don’t really have any options other than the internet for a place to play. It’s also nice to meet people from other places, so that’s a plus.
Experience in D&D: I’d say that I’m about average, but I read the books a lot so maybe slightly above average.
Edit: My preferred classes are Sorcerer, Druid, Monk, maybe Wizard or Warlock(but I haven’t tried those classes yet so who knows lol), but yea mostly spell casters, Sorcerer being the highest.

Reason for Wanting to Join:I have only just rediscovered D&D after a really long time, twenty years or so. My main reason for joining would be being able to play in GMT times. And I don't might talking or text, also I'd just really like to play.
Experience in D&D: I played may years ago when it was 2nd edition so it's been a long while but I've been watching lots of CR and doing a bunch of reading, so new but not totally ignorant. I have a few classes made up and I prefer a close combat type of job, but i'll play anything really.

Just a heads up, we have already been through 2 sessions but nothing story based has happened and everyone is still level 1, this is mainly because our group is not serious at all. An example of this is how I had to plan out an entire heist mission for the group since they went to the wrong mansion after a poor history check.
