Game: D&D 5e ( but I've never played before, so happy to try anything!) Group preferred: Face-to-face Experience: New Location/Timezone: EST, in Hickory, NC but willing to travel a bit Availability: I've got a weird schedule, Tues and Wed nights are best, some weekends. Really, it just depends what hours we're looking at. Preferred role: Player Game style: I like a nice balance of RP and combat.
Like I said, I don't have any experience (unless you count the hours spent watching Critical Roll), but I'm eager to give it a go!
Hi! I'm a fairly new player living near Asheville, is that too far for you? Anyway, I would love to join if that's not too much of a hassle. Would it be okay to do some online?
Hi Mastemate! I'm really only looking for face to face right now. I guess it would depend on what part of Asheville. Best case scenario, it's a little over an hour. Probably wouldn't be practical for a weekly game, but not completely impossible. Would be awesome if we could find someone halfway between us!
Hey there! Coincidentally I am also in Hickory, NC (went to viewmont and everything lol) I tend to go up to Asheville fairly frequently and I would be happy to help with transport if thats the issue. I am also very experienced with DnD and could possibly DM. However my current schedule limits me a bit to only Sundays and sometimes other days. If we pick up some more people im sure there are a few places in Asheville to play.
There's also a good place to go to for DnD in Charlotte, but they mainly host Adventures League games. Which is a good place to start if you are fresh to playing DnD as far as learning the mechanics of the game.
Hi Lyrithus! My schedule's a bit crazy too, that's mostly what I'm worried about with finding the time to drive to Asheville and back. I work every other weekend, but have some days/evenings off during the week. I also have another co-worker that is interested in joining (no experience). If we had enough players committed, do you think it might be possible to come up with a schedule where we alternated cities every other week to spread the travel around? And if you were willing to DM, that would be awesome! :) I was worried about trying to find someone willing to take on a stack of newbies.
Greetings, I live in Conover and was looking for a group to play with. I'm not that experienced but I do DM for my group of friends. However I have yet to be a player, I am looking for more of a Role Playing game, not to say that battling is boring but telling a story is a cool part of D&D. I am available Saturdays and Sundays however I work nights so my sleep schedule is messed up.

Happy New Year everyone! I've got another friend that would like to get in a game, just wanted to check in and see if y'all were still interested.
I'm in hickory NC and I would love to join in and play.
Hi TrulyJR! I've been looking for a group, but no luck so far. :( Will definitely let you know if something comes up!
