Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: 1 Year DMing, 3 Years playing Location/Timezone: EST Availability: Wednesday - Friday Preferred role: DM / Player Game style:
So I cooked up a weird idea for a campaign a couple nights ago, and I just got around to writing out what I wanted to ask of my players now.
I want to make a Round Robin Oneshot game.
How it would work is each player in said game would eventually take a turn DMing after about 6-8 sessions of someone else running a small arc. And the players of each arc could either keep or change their characters for the next portion of the campaign where someone else takes the turn DMing. I think it would be good practice for trying out classes and character social types, as well as good training for DMing. It would also be a good way to give the DMs a rest to play along with the others after a month or two.
I really think this would be an interesting way to meet and interact with a new group of people, so hit me up if you're interested. (And yes, I'll be running the initial One-shot to get everyone set up. I just really want to be a player again too, and this feels like a good way to convince other people to let me play at some point in the near future.)
