Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: Veteran Location/Timezone: EST Availability: Sat/Sun anytime, Fridays after 6 pm, mon-thurs 6pm to 12 am. Preferred role: Player Game style: I'm a heavy roleplayer, I love homebrew games, not the biggest fan however of homebrew rules mainly because they tend to maximize punishment for players than actually add things to games. (Crit fails, Alternate flanking rules, ect), I do not like every npc to hold the party's hand or to monologue about every leaf in the universe or magically know things about us, I don't mind have a central plot to follow but detest being rail roaded there. I'm a big fan of dms who can manage to not make the rails noticeable.
I've been playing for almost seven years now and I'm looking to join into a campaign again as a player. After seeing the recent UA for the Psionic Wizard Tradition, I really want to play it. I've never gotten to play a wizard, I'm usually a warlock or sorcerer. I'm a huge fan of tieflings and that is the race I would like to be. If either of those things are deal-breakers to you then don't post!
I am open to modules but I have zero knowledge of any of the base D&D lore due to having played strictly in home brewed campaigns that made their own lands, cities, gods, ect. So as a fair warning, I'll be a newbie for any campaign set there. I'm also hoping the group as a whole would be willing to intermingle character backstories so we're not coming in as complete strangers and at least have one or two members of the party we know.
About me; I'm a 26 female, I work a boring weekday office job. I also run a roleplaying FC in FFXIV that takes up a lot of my unscheduled time. So once a campaign schedule is set, any changes will need to be made in advance so I work around the planning I do for my members in those games.
Well I don't have a group. But im a new player looking for friends and the like. Im quite the opposite. After i get off from work I have all the time in the world. Currently on the never ending hunt for a campaign to play in.
Seems our schedules line up perfectly, Id love to join im a bit of an anxious person but i could warm up given time, add me on discord and we can talk more Xanadu #1898
Ours is a homestew world. A little bit of everything gets thrown in. No Homebrew rules that I can think of, certainly none punishing PCs. We are pro-PC here. Your character would he part of a startup business so you would be at least familiar with the other 2. Intertwining backstories is not only welcome but encouraged.
Game: D&D 5e
Group type: Online (Whereby + Discord)
Experience: Ours=2 dabblers (30+ years each), 1 newbie (2+ years); Yours= any welcome
Location/Timezone: East Coast(2), West Coast(1) /ET
Schedule: 7:30pm-9pm ET (occasional run over but hard stop at 9:30pm) Every third Tuesday except holidays (starting tonight 12/3, resuming 1/7)
Roles sought: Player
Game style: Homebrew world inspired by a little bit of everything. This campaign heavily inspired by Acquisitions, Inc. sourcebook. Set in the world's main/central melting pot mega city. Heavy roleplay. Theatre of the mind. We of course have no problem with our players being human, we prefer that characters not be. Beyond that we're pretty wide open. Just ask.
I am thinking of making a new campaign soon it would be home-brewed In a world that I have created More than likely it would be more centered on player decision making that heave combat. I have a home rule that if there is something you want to do just say it and it might work out. The only thing is the best day for me is on Sundays between 1 and 9 pm EST. Would this work? If you are interested please let me know, and i will provide more details.
