We play Weekends at 1:30 pm EST usually goes on from 3 - 6 hours depending on the content and when people want to stop.
Roles sought: 1 player
Game style: Roleplay heavy with emphasis on avoiding conflict and talking or figuring ways out of situations.
Im a new DM and we have a lot of brand new people playing so as new players would definitely feel welcome in this environment though any skill level is welcome.
This is a text based online only game that's being played on a discord server. For combat situations were using Roll 20.
We need a level 2 character that's not a Barbarian, Bard, Wizard, Sorcerer, Druid, Fighter or Warlock.
We're playing a modified Princes of the Apocalypse module so instead of just dungeon crawling and combat it's focused on role play and problem solving.
Reply with your character concept and I'll let you know if you can join.
P.S. we have a lot of trans players. You don't have to be trans to play but if you're not okay with that it's not gonna be a good campaign for you.
Hey! I have a female, level 2 bard/cleric air genasi named Asera Gales! I would love to join in if you are still looking, I am in-experienced though and can play most day afternoons and weekend
Asera is a really slightly silly, and very flirty character, she is about 5ft and 21 years old, she is also a bit drunk sometimes. She loves telling and/or creating stories about her younger self, although she does listen to her heart too much sometimes. As a kid, she knew she was different, with her light blue skin and hair, with random tattoos around her skin in a darker blue, although she didn't know how different until she realized she had the power to control the wind, and her hair was always much more tousled than the other children.
I have three different characters with three different backgrounds, 2 are level 2, An elf warlock/bard who got kicked out of his town due to making a pack with a feind and an air genasi bard/cleric lvl 2 who was raised with normal human parents, if needed I can describe how they look!
I've posted your concept to the group and they'll decide whether we like your character idea for the campaign or not. I'll let you know when everyone's voted.
I have a half-drow/half-firbolg artificer (level is adjustable to suit the campaign) named Elijah (Eh-lye-ah). He specializes in placing firbolg magic into simple items, but strives to improve his craft so that others will not see him as an oddity but an accomplished inventor.
This is is entirely up to the DM but I was thinking in regards to his firbolg heritage he would have the natural ability to communicate with wildlife, and at one point have befriended an owlbear. There are some racial traits I was hoping to run by the DM as well since I have him classified as a half-elf (which he technically is but anyway), that I was thinking he would have.
- Firbolg Magic You can cast detect magic and disguise self with this trait, using Wisdom as your spellcasting ability for them. Once you cast either spell, you can’t cast it again with this trait until you finish a short or long rest. When you use this version of disguise self, you can seem up to 3 feet shorter than normal, allowing you to more easily blend in with humans and elves.
- Speech of Beast and Leaf You have the ability to communicate in a limited manner with beasts and plants. They can understand the meaning of your words, though you have no special ability to understand them in return. You have advantage on all Charisma checks you make to influence them.
- Sunlight Sensitivity You have disadvantage on attack rolls and on Wisdom (Perception) checks that rely on sight when you, the target of your attack, or whatever you are trying to perceive is in direct sunlight.
Yeah you could totally talk to animals. Our party has a dog that would be really cool if you could talk to him.

Are you guys still looking? If so, I would love to join in on next Sunday, although this Sat I am a bit busy, would that be alright?

Awesome, thank you!
Sorry mate but the group has decided on someone else. Hope you can find another group though.

It's all good, thank you for getting back to me!
Hey, I would love to play since I’m new. I don’t have much experience, though
