I run Curse of Strahd Tuesday nights 7pm-10pm CST usimg Discord voice-chat and roll20 for maps. We are 4 sessions in and lost a player due to schedule conflict. I need a replacement. 

We have a rogue, Warlock, and a cleric. We are only level 4 and pretty early in the adventure. I would prefer that youve never played Curse of Strahd or read the module. 

Must be okay with mature content. Must be kind to the other players. This is dark fantasy. Think vampires, werewolves, etc. Also because we have started already, I have some unique character choices at creation.

Hello, my name is Ricky Flores but you can call me risk. If I'm being honest, I only started an actual game last weekend but I've been doing as much research as I can. I've never played curse of strahd, but am very willing to try and learn. A character I would love to play would to be a paladin with a dark past he no longer speaks about, instead he seeks the evil in the world and eradicates it. What I'm looking for in a group is just a good time; the same would be said of the campaign, as long as I get to learn and have fun then it was a game well done

i have about 8 months of experience  with DnD 5e.

i have no experience with curse of Strahd.

i am looking to play an elderly arcane archer who used to  an adventurer before becoming king. He was violently overthrown and has fled his lands and now seeks to become an adventure and prove to himself and to others that he can be a hero once again. His  goal is to become a hero of the people and eventually assemble a force capable of taking back his kingdom.

So far my experience with DnD has been mostly combat oriented so i am looking for a group that is looking to roleplay as well.  i want to improve my role playing abilities.

I've never played Strahd but I'd really love to. 

A character I'd like to play for your game. Well i do have a lvl4 Fighter/sorcerer. A goliath that wishes to make a name for himself, not with his tribe but with the world as a whole. Tough as nails, always ready for a brawl, and has limited experience speaking with new people but has a willingness to try. 

I look for comradory in a group. I like the atmosphere of a few friends adventuring, having fun, and seeing what shenanigans we can get into

In a campaign i look for depth of lore and flexibility. As in "well you were supposed to fight the owlbear but your druid tamed him and calls him Mr. Flufflesworth." And depth is kinda self explanatory lol.

Character Example: A Shadar-kai Blood Hunter (if you'd allow it I'd love to play one and it seems very fit for the campaign) who has recently been freed from the Raven Queen's service. He's new to the whole freedom thing so he's very compliant with his groups choices generally. As someone who very recently stopped getting orders for their every move he dwells on decisions he makes and loves to think of the other possibilities. (If you wouldn't like a Blood Hunter I have another character.)
What I'm Looking For in a Group: I'm really just looking for a group that clicks with each other in and out of game. People that make things fun is ideal.
What I'm Looking for in a Campaign: As I'm a new player I'm up for anything really as long as I get a taste of everything. I just want to get some experience under my belt.

An Aarakocra mix of rogue and sorcerer, lost his famiy to authorities and turned to crime, but is just looking for friends.

Nice, supportive group with enough maturity and a group that doesnt just want to f**k everything that is moving.

i guess as a new player i would love to learn more about the game and get more experience with d&d
