Hey there. Looking to play D&D for the first time. I have played other table-top games, so I do have a bit of gaming experience and understanding. I am looking for an online gaming group and am willing to use any software (roll20 etc.) that a DM wants (plus any type of voice chat). Let me know if you are interested in starting a game or are just looking for a new fresh character to join in! (I currently have a elf-ranger created, but can make another if wanted). Thanks!

I think a lot of us want to be players while a lot are limited on creating as a DM already seeing something that might be a issue related to that .

That makes sense... I used to be the ST for exalted games, so I could get one started instantly. I have never played D&D though, so I cannot do that :/. I want to at least play ONCE before I try that...

I would be more than happy to join! I am fine with 5e... that is the only book I have right now. I am currently playing another game IRL, so I do have some experience now. Do we start with level one characters? And are there any house rules for making them?
