So due to work conflicts our group has gone from five to three with the occasional 'no work this week so I can come in'. I would like to add one more so that number will be a nice four instead of three.
Now a few key rules before replying.
This game meets every Saturday, starting at 11 AM EST and usually ending around 8 PM EST, with an hour break around 5 PM EST. We wont be rescheduling, so if the day, or the time is not good please give this game a pass.
We meet in Discord and talk, so a microphone is a must. Quality wise I at least expect something better than a potato. I dont want to decipher static to figure out what you are saying. We have someone who's headphones is finicky and thus echos but he mutes himself when needed so if you echo I ask you also mute yourself when needed.
We all speak English, while I'm fine if you speak multiple languages I ask that you at least be 'speaking fluent' in English. Meaning can hold a conversation with minimal repeating.
We run 5e, and the races and classes are all 'official released'. While I'm occasionally fine with home-brew races currently I am not accepting any.
Now in terms of house rules I tend to operate by the book but I do have three main house rules currently
Ties go to the defender. This is mainly ease of use for myself, because while I have been playing since third edition, I also constantly forget what hits and misses when ties happen. So this rule is purely for ease of my own mind.
Critical failure on attack. I do run a failure table, it happens to players and monsters.
Critical initiative. Rolling a 20 on initiative puts you guaranteed at the top of the list, rolling a 1 causes you to miss a turn. This happens to players and monsters (to be honest the 1 rule seems to happen to monsters more than players)
In terms of players we have A death cleric (so minimal healing) A samurai fighter and an artillerist artificer
Edit: The group is level 3 and our first session of the new campaign is this week, but if you need time before joining let me know.
Okay. I am 17, and if that's not an issue, I'd love to join. However, if this is also okay with you, I'd like to do a small trial-basis. I'm definitely interested, but I'm a bit hesitant about committing before I know it's a good fit. And I do already have plans for Saturday, January 11th but I'll be free going forward.

Any questions just ask
I may be interested, depending on a few factors. What's the age range of the group?
If I remember correctly we are 18, 28, 29, and 33
