Game style: Big fan of heavy Homebrew 5e, though I am open to alternatives.

As a player I am engaged, and thorough in my creative process. As a DM I frequently get overambitious in anticipation of play- but that rarely hampers things.

I would prefer a mature group, though certain more jovial social atmospheres would also suit my tastes.

I enjoy playing: Monk, Wizard, and experimental homebrewed classes.

I enjoy running: Scary campeigns, deep lore settings, and homebrew.

I have some home-brew stuff tucked away in the closet. I could run something or be a player in something. 

Give me the go-ahead and I can start up a campaign. On the table are the Zaraithian Chronicles - a 3 part series home-brew world that mixes some fantasy and light science fiction. Also, I have a Dark Souls inspired shortish adventure that's high level, or a home-brew based in Ravnica.

We're just getting started. I've got interest in the Dark Souls inspired one...

It's called "The Machine". I started running it a while ago on these forums. Search for it if you want spoilers, but this time 'round, the story will be more well-developed and stronger. Also, due to work, I never got to finish it, so you won't be spoiling much.

The nature of the campaign is this:

You will "wake up" with no memory other than your name. No items other than your clothes. No weapons, trinkets, and the like. Start at level 10. High level campaign. Fast leveling. You should be level 18-20 by the end.

Trust me, you'll need to be there if you want to "survive" before turning to another one of the deadless that churns in the Sea of the Dead.

Me and my friend have been looking for someone to help us start a campaign. He's an experienced player when it comes to D&D 3e and hasn't played for a while. I'm a newbie looking to start my first game. We're usually free and can be consistently on for a number of hours to continue; we're very communicative when it comes to us being unavailable and wouldn't just leave you in the dark. If you're interested in helping us get into D&D 5e let me know!

I’d be willing to take some new peeps, no problem. So far, only 1 player has put his character in the campaign. If you want in, the link to the campaign is above in the thread.

I see two characters in the campaign. 3 would be perfect but I can go with two. 

Giving it one more day then we can start. 

I’ve got my three. If the character that isn’t fully created yet falls off, I may look for another.

No timeframe for posting. At a minimum once per week would be nice. We all have jobs and lives. There’s no set time, just whenever you have the time.

Also, in for thread set up for it, I’ll post some introduction information and some basics that your characters would know. It’s high level stuff, so be prepared if you’re new. Take your time and read through what your characters can do. If it proves to be too much, I can start something from level 1 as an introduction campaign. 

The Machine storyline was created to inject into an ongoing campaign or in the case of total party kill at high levels. 

You can post in the play by post game forum to subscribe if you want. Once we get the two or three people that added their characters to the campaign, we can get started.
