We met up and started playing (most of us transplants to Nashville) way back in the early Spring this year. We really hit it off, a pretty diverse and fun bunch of people in their 20's to 30's. Some highly experienced players, some brand spankin' new. Everyone is super chill, lots of fun, just serious enough that the game is dramatic and solid but not too serious to argue rules or sweat the small stuff. We're pretty much regular as clockwork, playing weekly.
We JUST said goodbye to one of our players, who is moving away--we will dearly miss them and they were awesome.
(So we're not likely to waste each others' time) The group is:
not a bunch of jaded game wankers (a chill rpg group with a board game addiction)
made up of people in their mid 20's to mid-30's, a mixed group of men and women, a mixed group of experience
on the side of socially-responsible storytelling (this is not a group for bad faith arguments about why, like, "rapey" or "bigoty" actions by your character are "ok because that's just playing my character" or whatever)
all doing the hard work of making time for the game, because that's maximum fun for others
Who We're Looking For
Someone chill
Someone into either playing really good D&D again or doing so for the first time
Someone respectful of the diversity at the table
Someone local
If This Is or Might Be You
Hit me up, let's figure something out. If this is anything like the last time this group picked up a player, there might be a huge number of responses--we'll try and be responsible about asking questions, a tiny bit of vetting, and figuring out who to include (there's always, it seems, more players looking than games needing).
Hey! If you're still looking for someone, I'm in Nashville and I'm looking for a group to play with in person. I'm fairly new. I've played a few times, but never with experienced players. I have all of my own books and everything needed to jump right in. I fit into all of your prerequisites, and I'm trying to meet new people in Nashville.
When do you all usually play? I'm definitely interested.

I live near Nashville and I work days at a manufacturing plant. What time and days are you guys together mostly?
Monday evenings is our regular time--we try and do a hard start at 530 to 600pm.

I live in Nashville...in South Nashville but work in West End. Would enjoy a shot.
Are days and times flexible or fixed? How long are your sessions usually? Is this a homebrew or a module?
