Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online / Discord Experience: Experienced Location/Timezone: NC, USA EST Schedule: (0900-1200) Roles sought: DM Game style: We are a group of mature (everyone is 30+), experienced players with 3-5+ years experience who have been doing a round robin style game where each of us takes the helm of DM'ing every 4 weeks. We realized that we never get to adventure together, so we'd like to find a experience DM (that we can pay) that will allow is to play together for once. Ideally, we'd continue to run our existing level 9 characters and get them up to tier 3 and tier 4. Alternatively, we can also do a LvL 1 to 20 campaign (but using our existing players is preferred). We currently have level 9 PC (Homebrew) in Waterdeep. We are also open to doing a AL campaign. 75% hack and slash and 25% RP is the best balance for these players, basically like a AL module of 3 encounters and a boss fight in a session.
What day(s) of the week? I'm a long-time DM (20+ years), in my late 30s, and open to doing some professional DMing if the time and compensation are right. I've got a good set-up for Waterdeep on roll20 as part of a level 1-20 campaign that I could probably adapt around your PCs or newly made ones. I'll be honest that for my style of DMing it tends to work better if I'm involved in character creation so that I can seed character hooks throughout the campaign, but that's something I can work around.
I'm friends with Danger, we typically can get everyone together on Sunday AM - does that work for your schedule? Do you have any rates? And we're all used to Roll20 so it'd be awesome if we could stick with that (I am also very interested in Foundry but dont know what the learning curve is, maybe it would work?)
From a player side Foundry is basically the same as roll20 when run through a hosting service like Forge (which is how I'd do it). The differences are more prominent on the DM's set-up side of things since I'd be switching materials over from roll20 to Foundry. If you all are primarily interested in staying on roll20 that suits me fine.
Sunday AM for EST could work -- how long would you want to play on a given week? And I'll be honest that I've seen rates all over the place when trying to figure out what the market is for DM services, so I'll say for a level 1-20 campaign (which takes more planning from me to render a cohesive story that incorporates all the PCs backstories effectively and seamlessly) I'd probably be looking for $5/player per hour at the table (so I'm not charging extra for my planning time and any outside-the-table conversations we have a players and DM).
Any interest in running DotMM? I've got a few mods / homebrew ideas for organizing it into a more coherent campaign if that's of interest. I know you said you prefer more hack-n-slash side stuff, so that environment may interest you. If you wanted to start at level 1 or so I could easily run Blue Alley and a few homebrew dungeons in Waterdeep to get you up towards level 5, or we could run a heavily modded Dragon Heist if that's of interest. I'm pretty flexible as long as the players are having fun.

I've also been looking for a reason to switch to Foundry VTT if that's preferable.

Does 20 min from now work to pop into discord? I'm watching a show with my daughter :D
Holy crap $100 a night for a 5 player group, you better be one hell of a DM with a super professional set up for those prices.
Are you still looking for a DM? Feel free to message me on discord @ vampinoy#1989
