Game:Dragon of Icespire Peak Group type: Online / mRPG app (Android/iOS) Experience: New DM, few years as a player Location/Timezone: PST/PDT / UTC-8 Schedule: Play -by-post, tend to be more active evenings and weekends. Roles sought: 1 Co-DM / 1-2 player Game style: Group plays using mRPG app for chat and gameplay. We utilize Google Docs for Encounter and Location Maps. Both groups also have a campaign site in alpha stage for keeping as an adventure log.
I am seeking a Co-DM that either uses mRPG or is willing to learn it, easy for anyone that has Discord experience. The Co-DM will mainly play some NPCs and helping to weave some of the character's backstories into the adventure. Both PC groups are a mix of new and experienced players, and we are using the Essentials Kit Rules for this adventure. Full rules will be open upon starting the next adventure in the series, Storm Lord's Wrath.
Group #2 has an currently has an opening for a Rogue and would always welcome a 2nd Cleric. Please note that the Essentials Kit Rules have limited spell lists, archetypes, and Cleric Domains.

Role: Player or Co-DM Experience: Timezone: Character Class/Race: Rogue or Cleric only at this time. Race options are: Dwarf, Elf, Halfling and Human
I may be able to help you as co-DM. I've limited experience with Discord and I've never used mRPG, but I've played and run PBP games in the past. I've also got DoIP and the expanded series.
Experience: Somewhere in the vicinity of 38 years of RPG experience (off and on) on both sides of the screen with multiple systems. I'm fairly new to 5e and most of my DnD experience is AD&D through 2e, though I've found the rule set fairly intuitive to pick back up.
Honestly it varies, can be as little as 1 or about 10 maybe 15 max per person, that was more doing battle. Group #1 is just starting the main Gnomengarde Quest encounter, and Group #2 is on the Dwarven Excavation Quest. Recently put together a character questionnaire using Google Forms that most players have utilized to help flesh out their characters some.
With someone who has the series, are there any particular ones from DoIP that you would be more partial to playing? I have probably a handful pf NPCs from PCs backstories i will be adding to the plot.
I'm also of the opinion the mages should probably be Warlocks based on their individual descriptions and because the spellcaster stat cards include armor by default. The only real problem here being this class isn't open to the PCs using the Essentials Kit - however since they are NPCs, and the full rules will be opened up later, this may not be an issue for you. Neither mage makes sense as a School of Evocation caster either for what that's worth (especially Shanjan).
I've created an mRPG account under the user name Tom9Tom.
My apologies for the delay but I added you to the character creator lobby to get a feel for macros. Then I'll start you off with Group#2 as we are about to start a large, multipart encounter where the enemy advances on them in waves.

Pickled Pete is my least favorite of the bunch.
