So I'm running a political intrigue, we are 3 sessions and one of my players left without a word and doesn't want to respond to messages, so here i am. we currently have an Artificer, Celestial Warlock, Shadow Monk, Bard/rogue and one other i cant remember cause i'm the best DM (sarcasm). The campaign is set in my own world and I'm using a pantheon i found. I'll need a backstory from you so i can establish allies and enemies in the world as well as a small plot line or two. Please work with me to make the backstory so i can help to ground everything in the world. If you plan yo join the campaign you will have to be okay with LGBT, as one of my players fits into that and i don't want to create a source for tension or problems within the group.
Campaign deets: Length: Up to lvl 15 maybe longer or shorter Current level: 3 Time: 5:30pm AEST When: Wednesday nights Where: Discord, but you can be where ever you want.
About me: I've been DMing for about 4 years, playing since just before 5e released, I'm based in Perth city, this is my first pure home brew campaign but i have run most of the modules before. pretty sure that's all you need to know.
Rumors are spreading through the city like wildfire, people are disappearing and turning up days later dead in the streets with strange plant growths. The city guard is in disarray with the disappearance of the Captain Edmon, the morgues are overflowing and work in the factories is slowly grinding to a holt. Its not safe to go out at night anymore and merchants wont trade in the city for fear of their lives, and the roads are just as dangerous. Fake news and conspiracy is rampart, the kings court is tied up and cant agree on what to do. Rumors of a plague, or maybe just the ramblings of a mad man, no one can be sure what is true and what isn’t anymore.
