Hello, I am the Moongoose (28) and I’m going to DM some sessions in the upcoming weeks. I’ve DM’d about 10 times but I’m no stranger to D&D. My style is usually slow, patient, and steady. I consider myself a great teacher, as I do that professionally. I feel like this is a good opportunity for any brand new players to enjoy a game. I will be running Lost Mine of Phandelver for whoever is interested. For those of you that may not know - Lost Mines of Phandelver is an adventure that will bring your character from the pits of a level 1 - all the way to level 5! That is a huge power jump. Woah! If you’ve never seen or heard of a d20 before. This session could be for you.
I'm looking primarily for newer players but can take on some vets too. Please fill out. All ages welcome, I like crusty old guys because they give the best feedback. I like younger folk because they are quick to be honest. DM me or post here.
Whatever you are called (Name/Pronouns) : Time zone : Age :
RPG/D&D experience: What you are looking for from my game: What do you NOT like? (uncomfortable/dread doing in tabletop) :

Anything fun or interesting you wish to share about yourself:
RPG experience: Podcasts and I have sat in on a couple F2F games. No playing experience!
What I am looking for: Some playing experience with someone who patient enough to teach newbies!
Don't like/Dread: People who are not team players or are impatient with people learning the ropes. Otherwise not much.
Length of session- One to a few hours, depending on how people feel!
Fun or interesting: I am crazy about insects, and I keep bees. Also I would like to get playing experience under my belt because my true dream is to DM.
Whatever you are called (Name/Pronouns) : Ejldo but i go by "El" or "L" (he, him, his, the great one etc.) Time zone : EST Age : 28
RPG/D&D experience: Ive played a few oneshots and a short homebrew campaign What you are looking for from my game: A fun time with fun people,to learn the game and looking to explore different player types What do you NOT like? (uncomfortable/dread doing in tabletop) : The word "cant" when in a situation pertaining to roleplaying or npc's otherwise im game for most things
How long would you want the typical session to run for: 3-4 hours is usually good for me time wise but im open to longer or shorter sessions, preferably Sundays
Anything fun or interesting you wish to share about yourself: I read a lot of books (a lot of fantasy but also everything really), comics, manga and webtoons
Whatever you are called (Name/Pronouns) : Austin (He/Him) Time zone : EST Age : 28
RPG/D&D experience: I’ve played one campaign before of 5e What you are looking for from my game: A good combo of role play and combat and a group of chill people to adventure with. What do you NOT like? (uncomfortable/dread doing in tabletop) : Not really, just do not playing with evil aligned characters.
How long would you want the typical session to run for: Between 2-4 hours
Anything fun or interesting you wish to share about yourself: I’m also a teacher! I’m pretty comfortable with playing any class as well to suit the party needs!
Name/Pronouns : Andy (He/Him) Time zone : GMT +1 (I know, it seems insane but I have insomnia and the timing falls on the weekend, even up here in the North) Age : 33
RPG/D&D experience: Started playing '98, played every issue of D&D and roughly 31 other TTRPG systems. What you are looking for from my game: Some playtime on the other side of the DM screen, Lost Mines of Phandelver and Storm Kings Thunder are also the only two adventures I haven't read, ran as a DM or played through. HUGE plus! What do you NOT like? (uncomfortable/dread doing in tabletop) : Meta gaming and min/maxing without genuine RP justification / motivation. How long would you want the typical session to run for: I've found 3-5 hours works best for me and my tables, but I've ran up to 10-12 hour sessions.
Anything fun or interesting you wish to share about yourself: I'm a historian so I base a lot of my concepts in historical cultures to flavor my characters, I'm also a viking reenactor so I spice a lot of my warrior concepts with colorful descriptions of how they fight.
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: Veteran Location/Timezone: Norway / GMT+1 Availability: Most days Preferred role: Player Game style: Adaptable and versatile, default style is rp'ing and being a nerd about lore
