Game: In order of preference: D&D 5e, Pathfinder, any other edition of D&D Group preferred: Online Experience: Moderately experienced, but returning to the game. Expect a lot of things to click after the first session. Location/Timezone: Kansas City, Kansas | Central Standard Time Availability: Any time/day of the week, aside from sunday evenings Preferred role: Player, more than happy to help out with designing encounters/bosses/gimmicks/ect Game style: Extremely flexible in terms of campaign style. I will admit I am used to the murderhobo playstyle, if only because it is easy to play out, but I do appreciate good worldbuilding/taking the time for side paths and interesting loot.
Extra information: In terms of the homebrew, it was geared into a class called the Puppeteer. Giving up things at the GM's discretion to allow the artificer to spend time and materials to create parts/research new parts, which are then used in either their gadgets or the aforementioned Puppets. The class was built to be a flexible class that, alongside the Artificer's specialist archetypes, could fill any role that was necessary, though it is primarily a DPS class (Modular puppets for inside/outside combat)
The class starts being able to create a generic punching puppet, which deals as much damage as you think it does (1d4) that acts alongside the puppeteer. It is easy to cause the puppeteer to incur disadvantage on controlling their creations, which if the character is unable to control them have a fair chance to turn on the party, usually as the result of mind control/ causing the puppeteer to be unable to cast spells in some way / ect. One final thing to mention is that I intend to stream this at https://www.twitch.tv/stonehaart and hope to include the chat/donators in how the campaign plays out (Nothing major, mostly NPCs/saving throws/ect Things to discuss later on.
