Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online Only
Experience: One new, one moderately experienced.
Location/Timezone: One in North American Pacific Time, one in Australian Eastern Time
Availability: I believe our availability would be around 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays North American Pacific Time, but probably only once a month.
Preferred role: We're looking for a DM. There are only two of us, so if you already have a couple players, we don't mind joining them to have a bigger group.
Details: I've been playing D&D an average of about 1.5 sessions per week for a little over a year now. My friend played a few sessions that I DMed, but since those were international sessions, the timing was too early for him. I still DM that campaign, so DMing another one would be more than I can manage, but it would be fun for us to play as players together.
So I'm hoping you can help us! We need a DM, and a couple of additional players, if you have them, would be great! I would only be available about once a month, since I usually DM the other campaign on Saturdays.
As far as game style, we'd need something that was beginner friendly, since my buddy isn't very experienced at the game. Something with a good bit of mystery and story involved would be excellent! Aside from that, a good balance of roleplay and combat; hack 'n' slash gets a little monotonous.
If it matters, my friend and I would be playing characters who already know each other. I haven't chosen a class yet (probably a druid, sorcerer, warlock, or rogue), but he'll be playing a rogue. We could start anywhere from 1st to 3rd level.
If you need any help getting started with DMing an online game, I already have all the necessary tools for that and could show you how it works. :)
