Hey everyone, I'm looking to do a custom one shot at lvl 20! This is a chance for me to sharpen my DM'ing skills and could be a place for you to try out new builds you want to enter into the fray. This would ideally be a one shot, but could be a two shot depending on what happens ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ idk we'll feel it out

I'm out out college for spring break and I wanted to have some fun tonight! This is also incredibly short notice and I know that many people may not be able to play this quickly. For that reason, I can also move this to Sunday night at 5pm CST as well if there is enough interest. If there continues to be more interest, I can try and find a day that works better into next week, but ideally would hope to play this weekend.

Here is the prompt of the one shot:

Some time has passed since the demonic portal has closed (previous one shot). The kingdom of Tulia has begun to experience a drought unlike no other. Magic users have tried their best to grow crops using their powers, but they are unable to do so given the drought and subsequent famine seem to have something magical affecting them. The King of Tulia, Reonard the 13th, has tasked the most powerful known heroes in Tulia, to act as diplomats and climb the highest mountains of Tulia, Mt. Skol, to speak with the princess of the storm giants, Princess Astrid. The storm giants posses an artifact known as the crimson gale that has the ability to control storms and bring forth the magically infused rain necessary to stop this drought and reverse the famine. However, the kingdom of the storm giants have had a shaky alliance with Tulia for some time. As isolationists who continue to suffer from their own woes, they have received no aid from Tulia in their time of need.

Something otherworldly sinister has been dwindling their numbers over the past couple of years. One that they cannot deal with alone. The tribe has become isolationist, and outright hostile in some situations due to the constant paranoia of being attacked or captured. (You as players know this but not your characters) They have received a missive that you would be arriving on top of Mt. Skol to speak negotiations, yet, you do not know how Princess Astrid will respond. A Dark Cloud gathers over Mt. Skol. One that is not associated with that of the storm giants, but one of ash.

Also I wanted to note that I have a new DnD animation channel where I take clips from the games that I run and animate them. Here is the last video that I made:

I usually pull from funny/epic/sad/etc. moments and make little animations from them. No guarantee that anything will get animated, but I'd rather let people know beforehand so that they're cool with it. If there's a clip I think is really good I'll let you all know about it before I begin production on it!

Here's what I'm looking for:

• Experienced players welcomed and inexperienced also welcomed. If you're looking for a place to experience lvl 20 gameplay this is it. I'm a really laid back GM and here to have some fun and I encourage learning by doing.
• Players who are invested in RP and take the game serious (to a degree). Team players who are friendly to other players and understand how to work with cohesion with others. This is a lvl 20 game and you will absolutely need teamwork to survive.
• Access to a microphone, roll20 account and a discord account since that is where we will be playing.
• An intermediate understanding of RAW will be helpful.

Details about the game:

• Sticking with RAW, but if you have a homebrew idea pass it by me and I'll consider it depending on its source and how it functions.
• Game session could go on for 3-4 hours, but if it goes over that I may consider running a second session so we can finish it if people want to.
• Online only - will be taking place inside of my discord where we'll use voice and roll20. We will be using the roll20 VTT too.

• How much experience you have as a player 
• Any clips you may have from streams or other content that showcases you rp'ing (it's ok if you don't, it just helps me get a better idea of things)
• The class/character you would like to play with a mini background. Doesn't have to be a complicated background, just something to pull from
• Any lines/veils you have for me to take into consideration to make the game a more accessible place.

Hi! I've been playing for a couple years, as a DM and player, and have been trying to get back into playing! Unfortunately I've never streamed any games 😅. I'm hoping to play a human druid boy from a mystical forest called the Firethorn Grove, raised by Treant and Faery Dragons from a young age after being sacrificed to the forest, he left the woods after his home was burnt and his family killed by an evil horde of dark elves. hehe. Oh hai there Chad. We see you still havnt found that table to be a player, so have done the DM route again. We know how that goes. We dont do video, even when we stream, as we dont have a camera at this time. If thats not a problem, we could totally have something ready to go for tonight, in no time at all. ^-^

That is, assuming that its tonight. We run our own game tomorrow during your proposed Sunday time.

Unfortunate, for us. Welp, we have a new level 20 NPC to put in our worlds now! XD
