Lemme start by saying, I have a LOT of time on my hands at the moment and would like to sink my teeth DEEP into a new campaign.
Searching For: Player looking for group, Game: D&D 5e, Homebrew 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: 3.5/Pathfinder veteran, 5e 1 year Location/Timezone: EST Availability: All times except Wednesday from 4pm-12am Game style: Hardcore, balanced, intreague/mysetry or horror, large scale
(I'm a very flexible player in terms of class and RP and love to create deep backstories based on the world the DM offers me and try my best to role-play those characters with equal depth. I love twisting mystery and horror but I am open for any kind of setting other than realistic. I'm currently looking for other people in quarantine who would like to either spend a bunch of hours playing through an official campaign they never had time to play or a new world on offer. Hit me up, I'm very easy going and get along with most people.)
I have a meaty pay-to-play campaign just starting, set in a homebrew Norse-inspired world. I have 4 solid players already in the game, and last friday was our first session (went very well). I love deep narrative as a DM, and I work hard to make interesting plot progression, connect PC's to the story and world, and immerse my players in the story we craft together. I even go so far as to have personal themes ready for each character chosen in cooperation with the player. I love players who want to take a bite out of my world, become a real part of it, and immerse themselves deeply into their characters and our shared story.
You're in luck too, the party just found a small town on the coast currently being plagued by disappearances, and some connection to a foul cult. I don't do a ton of horror, but this part of the world is very much steeped in mystery and fear. If you're interested feel free to PM me. Here is a link to the Roll20 advert, with a handful of documents related to some homebrew stuff I'm doing and setting information (one document is around 14 pages - just a warning): https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/198870/the-swords-of-midgard-a-viking-adventure
