Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online / Voice Experience: Veteran DM but new to playing online and played once or twice as a player :(. Location/Timezone: Gmt should be -1 but otherwise, iz Iceland. Schedule: Anytime after 6(7)pm preferably on the weekend but I am flexible with the days at the moment. Roles sought: DM or a player. I prefer 4-5 players, 6 max. I think when playing online 4 would be a suitable number for everyone to enjoy. Game style: I worked for a community center as a dm. Played with teenagers and young adults. I mix themes when making my own adventure from fairy tale to horror fictions depending on the "quest". I want to see if online playing works for me so I will at least aim to finish a short campaign.
I have a few homebrew rules that adjust some of the mechanics of the system and I might ask if I can experiment with a new one but if you are a new player ill respect that and go default. I also ask that you respect your fellow players, I don´t tolerate rude nonsense unless they are at least character related and everyone is fine with it.
I can go on but there is danger of "to long didn't read" :).
I am a mildly experienced player and fairly inexperienced DM and would love to join an online campaign. I live in the us so your 6pm is about 11am for me so time wouldn't be a problem. I'm currently available all day weekends.
I'm a mildly experience player (3 years experience with 5E) in the US and would love to know more about the kind of campaign you might run, if you're still looking for players. I would be able to do Saturdays only, as I work Sundays.
I'm also interested. I used to play quite a bit in high school and college, but, haven't played in years. I have no experience with 5E, but, am currently going through the players handbook. I'm on the west coast of the US, so about 7 hours behind you on time, so a Saturday or Sunday time would work will for me.
I'm interested as well, not picky on setting. If you're still looking for players, that is. Around 3 years of experience with 5e, USA. Able to do Saturdays, and I wouldn't mind trying some homebrew rules.
Alrighty JaniXY#8781 that's my discord tag, looks like we are aiming for a Saturday game. I have several ideas on what short campaign to run but since I got a weeks worth of prep time, its up for discussion.
Yeah, ill be using discord for voice during the game and we can get the group together on a private server. maybe i shouldve mention discord earlier :P. I did my homework on how to play online and added the 5e helper bot on that channel should someone want to use that.
It works well in my experience, I just wasn't sure if you wanted to talk to us individually before moving to a server, lol. I'll send a request - my Dischord is Archinis#5005, just so you know it's me!
Still room for 1-3 players for a game next Saturday but I will stop looking starting Thursday so that I can focus on dm pre-work :). We got a fighter "echo knight", cleric "grave" and a "rogue trickster".
Hello there! I'm a new player and I'd be interested in joining your game. I wanted to play D&D for a long time but none of my friends wanted to try it out, so I thought I'd look online.
I played a single one shot on Roll20 and it went well, so now I'm looking to join a party for more than a single session. I'm good with things gameplay wise (from watching Critical Role and playing CRPGs) so I don't mind any homebrew rules; still have trouble jumping into character but I think it'll get better with time. I'd like to play an Eldritch Knight Fighter but I don't mind playing something else if the party is unbalanced.
I'm based in France (GMT+2) and I'm pretty much available everyday right now (because of the whole worldwide virus situation), but after that, weekends are good to me (preference for sundays).
