Life in the Village/City has always been terrible. You have always wanted to get out and see the world, but the lack of funds and experience has kept you back. But then you see it. A group looking for hirelings. This could be your big chance! Hey, your going to be a hireling so what could wrong, right?
Game: D&D 5e
Group type: Online - Discord (?)/
Experience: New / a few years / veteran
Location/Timezone: CST
Schedule: Tuesday nights from 7PM to 11PM CST
Roles sought: Looking for 4-6 Players
Game style: Mash up of some modules and Homebrew. You will be tromping around starting in the Forgotten Realms But who knows where you will end up.
Info: Build your character and lets play. I do have a few banned races just because I do not want to deal with them. Sorry if you don't like it. No need to flaming post, just move along.
Banned races: Aarakocra, Kenku, Tabaxi, Simic Hybrid.
Non-player races: Kobolds, Lizard Folk, Bugbear, Triton, Changeling, Kalashtar, Shifter, Gith, Centaur, Loxodon, Minotaur, Verdan, Locathah, Grung, Feral Tiefling, Orc, Orc of Exandria, Orc of Eberron.
Special note: You may choose Tiefling, but you will have a negative charisma modifier when dealing with the public until you become known enough. You are considered demon like and people will be scared of you.
Will be using DDB for Campaign Management. I will provide links once you are accepted.
Character Creation:
Level: 1st
Stats: Point Buy (34 points)
HP: Max HP at 1st and 2nd Level. Level 3rd and beyond, you can either roll or take the half +1 + con.
Rules of the game:
1. Goes without saying, be considerate of others, i will kick if you can't show respect.
2. Please don’t cheat. If all you roll are high numbers, so will the bad guys. Trust me, you won’t like it and neither will I.
3. A natural 20 and a natural 1 are only critical for hits. Otherwise it is just a darn good roll. Sorry, somethings no matter how high you roll are impossible. Likewise, rolling a 1 isn’t a bad thing.
4. Rule of cool over book rule. Don’t be afraid to ask and describe it. It might just work if you roll high enough.
5. Have faith in me, if I say no it is for a reason. Something else may be happening you are not aware of.

I don't have a lot of experience with DnD yet, most of what I know is from reading through the wiki, watching Youtube videos and the handful of sessions I've had with friends.
I'd say that I'm familiar with the rules of the game, but I'd also expect to find something I didn't know yet every now and then.
