Game style: I, the DM, typically run a gritty high fantasy campaign with political intrigue with other moving parts. My player usually can play a role in it or allow the world to move around them while making their own path. I like to tie the player's backstories into the world. I believe in both Rail Roading and a Sand Box style of play. I run our game on Roll20 and Discord for Voice.
About the World/Setting: In the Region of Nal'ar, there are two warring cities, Loti and Grothun. They are in a dispute about land, and who owns the claim of the originators of warforged. In their struggle for power, Grothun lost a large amount of their lands to constant battles forming The Decay. The other cities are now having to handle refugees and other encroaching problems. The region is vast and varied with plenty to explore. The adventure will begin in Rarv, a neutral mercenary town trying their best to avoid this war and protect those inflicted by the ripples of war. However, lately goblin's have begun moving through the hills to the north causing another panic for the City of Rarv.

Hi I am definitely interested in this campaign although would feel a bit more confident knowing I had a party (since I would want to play a spellcaster). Also I'm really new to D&D, I've watched people play but don't understand everyhting completely. This would be my first D&D experience.
