-experience
-race/class
-short version of character backstory
-days of the week/time of the day you are available to play (This will consistently be the same day/time every week)
Im rather new to the D&D community and game but i have experience with other board, text, and even video RPG games such as adventure quest. Ive always wanted to play D&D but never had the time or money to get into it.
Half-Elf Ranger
Valenor used to be both the hunter and the local thief of his home village until it was pillaged by a group of roaming bandits and killed almost everyone in the village along with his sister, who he is now searching to get revenge for. (sorry if its badly worded I wasnt sure how to word it)
Im avaliable to play every weekend (Sat-Sun) around noon Pacific standard time and every Thursday around 3:30-4:00 pm Pacific standard time.
Im looking to gain experience in D&D and (possibly) some new friends during the quarantine.
Hello i was wondering if i could use my level 4 warforged (jugornaut) barbarian if you want me to be level 1 i have a paladin (human) and a Rouge (human variant)
i am available everyday from 12 P.M to 5 P.M i will use my paladin level one he is a old soldier who wants to fight for what he thinks is good no matter what he is loyal to his beliefs and no matter what he will never do anyting inmoral no matter what the cost is
Experience: started playing RPGs in the '80s with D&D 1E. I have also played several other games/systems over the years. However, outside of a short stint in a brief D&D 5E campaign a couple of years ago that only lasted a couple of weeks, I have not played anything but MMOs for the past 20-30 years. I've been looking to get back into D&D, but have not had any luck thus far.
Race/class: I have a couple of different ideas that might be possible, but will focus on the two that sound best to me right now. I've been leaning toward a Fallen Aasimar Cleric (or Paladin) or a Yuan-Ti spellcaster (maybe starting as a Warlock).
Short version of character backstory: The one that I have the most developed is for the Fallen Aasimar, which would need some input from a DM regarding specific conditions and details as it relates to his fall. Without a specific campaign, it was written using the Forgotten Realms as a setting.
Fallen Aasimar: a celestial, who formerly served Eldath, was assigned to watch over a small church dedicated to the goddess. The goddess had foreseen that a newly raised priestess would rise within the ranks of the church and do great deeds. However, she also saw that the priestess's destiny was not set in stone; there was a potential for it to be prevented. To help ensure the future she desired, Eldath assigned the character to watch over her and the church. Over a number of years working together, they shared an unrequited love until they were both manipulated and tricked by Glasya, resulting in the character's fall.
Yuan-Ti: still a work in progress with only the barest outline begun (since I'd only begun working on it yesterday). Basically runs along the theme of a son of a minor noble house sent out into the world to spy and work for the goals of his house. While away, he begins to question the logic behind they overall goals of the Yuan-Ti empire. He still bears the same haughty, coldly dispassionate demeanor, but has begun to see the value in other societies beyond serving as either slaves or food.
Days of the week/time of the day you are available to play: I live in the U.S. Central Time Zone. Typically, during the week, I am available Mon-Wed between 6-10pm. On Friday's I'd typically be able to play later into the night. Most Saturday's I'd be available at any time. On Sunday's I can be available virtually any time until 6pm.
What you're hoping to get out of the game: Personally, the ability to enjoy a shared pastime with like-minded others as we develop grow our character's history and impact on the world-at-large. For my characters, it depends on which would be accepted. For the Aasimar, his journey would end in either his redemption or his failure to find redemption and slowly succumb to evil (presumably becoming an NPC). For the Yuan-Ti, to eventually choose a side: either continue to work for the overall goals of the Yuan-Ti's return to power or side with the other races against the Yuan-Ti.
Experienced RPGamer and DM/GM (from the 1980s--like on TV). New to Roll20 and D&D Beyond. In Wisconsin (CDT). Am interested in playing simpler characters, player's handbook races, one or two classes. Heck, If you have characters pre-genned or that you would like to see, tell me, i'll play one mostly maybe. Maybe dwarven barbarian, dwarven ranger, 1/2 orc cleric, tiefling fighter/warlock. best,
Experience: About 15 years of D and D experience from 3.5 and on.
Race/class: Half elf Hexblade warlock.
Short version of character backstory:
Shar'las story would start out with her family, Her father Talen Silverlight was a human Paladin, Her mother a High elf wizard named Shar'len the weaver. The two were in the same adventuring party growing close over the years before desiring to settle down and start a family and build a farm to live a happy simple life together. Tragedy would strike as a cruse would take Shar'lens life as she birthed Shar'la. Grief stricken Talen would try to keep his past from Shar'la to keep her from meeting the same kind of fate. Shar'la would spend her first twenty five years of life living on her family farm dreaming of a life of adventure and thrills. The young woman would secretly try to learn magic and hone her sword fighting skills while her father was not around. One day recently her father went off in a hurry saying he had to deal with something from his past. He ordered Shar'la to stay home and wait for him. Weeks later Shar'la would start to get worried as rumors of dark things going around the village would start to spreed. Seeing this as her chance the young half elf would grab her fathers sword and gear to help defend her home and her people in her fathers stead.
Days of the week/time of the day you are available to play: Any day but Sunday and Wednesday all times.
What you're hoping to get out of the game: Just looking for a fun group to get together with and escape the boredom that is isolation and quarantine for a few hours in the week.
Experience: I played 3.5 about 4- 5 years ago. But it was very inconsistent when we would play. Started playing 5e in September with a local group I dm.
Race/Class: Gnome/Gunfighter
Backstory: Worked for an elven wizard cleaning up and tinkering. Accidentally fell through wizards portal and ended up in a wild west dimension, ended up taking a pistol home and reverse engineered it. Struck out on his own to find adventure.
When can play: Thursday -Sunday 7pm CST
Hoping to see how a different DM works as well as more of a role playing group.

Hi! I'm Tyler. I've been playing since the beginning of last semester, so about 8-9 months or so.
I don't have a set character at the moment, so I'm pretty open, though I would love to play a bard. (not a stereotypically horny bard, by the way, no worries) Maybe a Tiefling. I'd love to work with you to figure out something appropriate for your campaign, particularly in terms of backstory.
Since I'm doing my college work from home now, I'm actually available most days, other than Fridays. I'd prefer to avoid Sundays, for religious reasons. I'm in US Central Time and am available afternoons and evenings.
I honestly want to play more of this fantastic game that I haven't had as many opportunities as I'd like to play since I got into it. I love the roleplay, I love the combat system, and I just want to be able to have a fun and engaging time with people I hope to call friends. It sounds kind of cheesy when I put it like that, but there you go.
Hi, I'm Aidan and this would be my first game. I do know some things because I have looked at several characters and made some.
My character is a fighter Aracocra and I am looking at an archer build.
I am definitely free on Wednesdays 5:30 till 7:30 and all of Saturday. I will be free at other times but I will need to ask my parents about it. I am in New Zealand so hopefully that won't be too difficult.
I really want to play a campaign of DND and I like being able to make a character then be able to play an awesome adventure with them. I also enjoy that you get to play with other people and are working together.
Goldwing is an outcast from his people and joined a thieves guild to make some money. He respects his teammates and likes to steal anything valuable that is not nailed down. He gets into fights a lot when he gets caught he puts up a good fight and often gets what he wanted. He doesn't have a family and likes the thrill of a fight.

How much starting gold? I can adapt my current under-construction Paladin build to a lower level
Rolling for stats, standard array, or some other method?
