Schedule: We normally play 8pm Monday nights. It’s possible we could change the night but a couple of players have kids so the time is less flexible.
Roles Sought: DM.
Game Style: We’ve been playing in a fantasy setting with a light-hearted tone. Think Douglas Adams or Terry Pratchett. Most of the players are fairly new.
Hi all. My name is Pete. I got into D&D about six months ago. I managed to find friends who were also interested in learning and ended up running a home game. The setting was home-brewed and we’ve been playing weekly for three months.
Sadly the current situation has meant the game is on pause. I’ve been exploring online solutions to this issue but I don’t have the skills to keep the game going.
I have been playing online personally and having a lot of fun but I miss my mates. Including me there are five of us (three men, two women) and I’m hoping there’s a DM out there who might be willing to help us out.
We’re all aged between 35 and 41 and we get along well as a group. We’re also fairly new to the game. I have more experience, but some of us are still learning.
I’ve done just enough of this dungeon master thing to know that I would never tell a DM how to run their game. We’re open to running modules or homebrew settings but that really depends on the DM. We’re just grateful for an opportunity to get our D&D fix.
We all have discord. I’ve played a lot on roll20. So that seems like the sensible option but if you have a better idea I’m open to it.
Might be a long shot. I’m guessing DM’s are spoilt for choice at the moment. But if you’re a DM who’s interested let me know.
I'm Amy, 27 y/o, I'd love to be your DM. I've been playing and DMing for about 2 years now, and been doing pay to play games for a while.
About my DMing, my players describe me as playing with my players and not against them. And I love that description! I want the adventure to be fun for me and for you. Also, I'm a firm believer in the rule of cool, and love having RP and story/character development in the campaign.
I'm not a huge fan of going all kill and power.
I'm available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. On the other days, I already have multiple games I DM.
If you are interested, want to know more about my rate, or other questions, please feel free to ask!
As long as you don't mind hanging out with people in their thirties and forties there's no restriction. Except I would definitely prefer somebody 18 +.
