Game: D&D 5e Group Type: Characters created in D&D Beyond and used in Roll20 with the aid of Beyond 20. Communication will be both voice and video, on a platform the group agrees to. Experience: I am a DM with over 5 years’ experience Time zone: I am in PDT (GMT-7). Schedule: Game Time will be Sunday from 10am to 1pm, this can shift left or right an hour or two. Week will be bi-weekly at first, and then shift to weekly once everything is established. Roles Sought: Players. Three experienced players, (+2 years of D&D). Two new players, (Less than 2 years). The players who write more will stand out more in my eyes, this is not a first come first serve post.
I am very interesting in joining this campaign as one of the new players. I have played in one group before that lasted for a few months meeting weekly. I have looked into roll 20 and like the idea of it but do not have any experience using it. I am am open to the Idea of playing most roles in one capacity or another (however my preference would be an archer or mage). I like to think outside the box when approaching puzzles and enemy encounters. I am 19 and have a consistent schedule so I can show up reliably for sessions. It may take me a few minutes to get comfortable on a video call but I have no problem sharing my name. I am looking for a long term group to play with. If you have any other questions feel free to PM me.

Hey, looking into getting into another game. I'd probably fall under the category of a 'new player' but I've played for a while, I remember my first 3.5 games back going 8 years, but it was always just an excuse to meet a friend from my WoW guild and the game never went anywhere and the group just ended after a few months for various reasons. I've been listening to a few different podcasts using 5e rules and been trying to get back in the game for about a year and a half, even running a couple games, but schedules always got in the way. I normally just like playing martial classes but been dipping into sorcerer recently to see if I could play one and not just have a premade magic class for my campaign. I'm fine with audio, but haven't done video before so I'd ask what the video is for.

Hello- My name is James. I'm looking to join a regular game. I've been playing since about 2008 but have had to take the last couple of years off because of work. I'm now in a situation where I can accommodate a regular game and I'm excited to get into it. I have played every type of character over the years and I'm open to trying new systems and new worlds. I tend to build characters more towards the role play side of things than min/maxing. I love to come up with elaborate back stories and motivations for the characters. I have tendency to also some how become the note taker for the group. Usually posting summaries to everybody a day or two before. A lot of times I do these as journal entries from my character's perspective. I love to work with DMs that like to have fun play around with ideas and concepts...... Well let me know if you are interested. Thanks for reading.
Hey man, would love to play. I wouldn’t say that I’m new to this game but I wouldn’t say that I’m the most experienced out there. My old campaign was okay, it wasn’t that immersive and thats what I’ve been looking for, and maybe I found it here. I would love to play as I’ve stated before, I already have a few characters made that have interesting backstories. I love the character process, because I like to immerse myself into each character I make and know that I can almost become the character and feel as if I play in the story.
First off, thanks for trying to set up a game. Second, Beyond 20 is great right?
I'm a pretty experienced 5e player/DM (though I got started back in 2nd edition as a teen). Recently, been mostly DM-ing (and mostly Exandria/CR adjacent), though I have a Saturday module-based game that plays occasionally (as always, getting all the group is a struggle). The long-term live campaign I was running ended more than a year ago since I had to move away, and online just wouldn't work for the players (military dudes). Current other long-term online campaign is on hiatus due to covid & some player's personal timing problems (babies, absences, potential switch to CoC, etc..) So....
I would really like to get in a long-term 5e group for Sunday morning (with consistent reliable players) since this is a perfect time for me. Although I obviously can get into battle and rules, for me story and character is everything.
Huge backlog of character ideas, so I'm not picky. Really just what fits into the group.
I would love to play in this group. The time frame is perfect for me. I have about 2-3 years experience playing but haven't played much in the time frame. So I have very solid experience playing but I'm still very new to much of the game. I love creating characters and giving bake story to them.i like to try and come up with unique ideas to problems in the game. I hope you pick me for a seat at the table.
Totally interested and am in PDT as well I played tons as a teen and am just getting back into it. Familiar with roll20 and have a few characters here on D&D Beyond, the ones I want to play the most...Half elf Ranger with abandonment issues and a real grudge with dragons, or a half elf rogue with a guilt complex because a parent paid the price for a deal gone wrong.
Not terribly experienced. I've been with one group through a main campaign and a handful of one-shots for the past year or so, but I have no experience outside of that. Not the most creative on the character creation-front, but open to inspiration. Not familiar with Roll20 (yet), but pretty comfortable around others, and will have no issues sharing.
Waitlist understood.
