Looking for 2 new players for Lost Mine of Phandelver "Closed"

Campaign: Lost Mine of Phandelver followed by Tyranny of Dragons
Tools: Discord for audio, Roll20 VTT, and Beyond 20 for virtual dice, DND-Beyond for character creation
Age: 21+
Experience: New to slightly new "Looking to teach new players the ropes"
Time: Tuesday from 5pm to 9pm EST.  Weekly
Party Size: 5
Need: Two players to roll melee characters "Fighter, Monk, Paladin, Barbarian, Rogue"
Requirements: Computer or laptop that can run Roll20 with the chrome app "Beyond 20".  A working mic with a push to talk set on discord.  "nobody wants to hear heavy breathing or chewing on an open mic".  

Greetings! 

We have a new campaign starting tomorrow 4/28, and are in need of 2 players that are willing to charge in on the front lines.  The group currently has a Cleric, Warlock, and Ranger and their two front line members flaked out on them at the last second.  

The campaign will run the Lost Mine of Phandelver and then head seamlessly into Tyranny of Dragons.  This will be a weekly campaign on Tuesdays fro 5pm to 9pm EST.  We are looking for players who are reliable and can commit to those times.  

I am looking for new to newish players who want to learn the ins and outs of the game.  I know this is short notice, so if you're interested I need to get you invited to the game ASAP so I can write your character into the campaign.

I might be interested in joining up ^^.

Would it be possible if I could try a tank focused druid build? I might multi-class in a couple levels of barbarian to seal the tank deal. I am pretty new to the experience of dnd but I'm already an assistant dm for my own campaign (for when the dm can't show) after months of studying the game out of interest xd. We have done about 5 sessions already and I have dmed 3 of them.

While I do enjoy making content for the players in my first campaign ever xd, I am really looking for that individuals experience as a player and being part of a team without knowing whats going to happen because I'm also the dm pfft.

While I know a certain amount of the rules there are still many things I am not used to yet and since I've never been a player only, my knowledge on handling encounters as a player is less than it would seem since I'm used to controlling the monsters and my Bard oc on the players team.

So might I be able to join up? Could be my chance for the individuals experience while also taking some dming notes XD.

Experience: New to online play (no games yet!) but I have been an RPer for a long time across many systems and games, including a long stint playing D&D 3.5. Haven't played 5th Ed yet, but have watched many games and will be fine.
Location/Timezone: UTC -4. US East Coast.
Availability: I work retail so my hours are somewhat unpredictable, but mostly I am available evenings and nights. If I have to miss a session I will let people know in advance. At this time for the next month or so this is unlikley that I will need to miss a session.
Preferred role: Player
Game style: A mix of all, it's all fun. Casual player that likes theatre of the mind stuff, roleplay, maps and combat if available.

Caveat: I do own the starter set, and essentials set, and Curse of Strahd all in physical form. I have the PH on Beyond as well as the essentials kit. I have read through LMOP a while back but the only real thing I remember is the very first combat encounter, so no worries- plus if anything does spark my memory I can keep it to myself. I don't plan on taking a leading role in party decision making anyway (for the most part, character may have other ideas as he grows).

My tuesday group filled up, but I do have a couple that just reached out to me "Husband and wife" who are looking to get into D&D and I'm going to set up a campaign and run it for them, we just need to decide on the day and get 2 more people:)
