LF new players who can't seem to get into a group

Location/Timezone: U.S. EST
Schedule: Evenings - Approximately 8:00 p.m. EST
Roles sought: Any and all
Game style: Based on what I've seen this might be a bit different from what's out there.  I've tried five or six times now to join a game as a new player and it just hasn't seemed to work out.  At this point I'm willing to try my hand at DMing, but I know it'll be a really rocky start because I'm new myself.  If you're new and, like me, having some real trouble finding a group then perhaps we can help one another out!

I'm looking for 4-5 players who want to get together every week or every other week.  My thought is that if you want to do round-robin one-shots we could all hone our skills as DMs and players.  No judgment because we're all new.  We're all learning the rules together and can help each other out.  Whether we stick together and form a real campaign down the road, or end up splitting into new groups as more experienced players I think this could be a better way for new players to learn then constantly posting to LFG threads hoping to get into a game 3 time zones away from you.  My only caveat is that I'm a 32 year old dude with a wife and kids and I'm hoping that I can play with some folks with the same level of responsibilities and consistency.

I'm interested in doing a few round robin one-shots not necessarily down to DM a full campaign tho.  I've played a couple of games with some friends on Discord (Preferred Video/voice service)  age 23 and my availability is pretty much the weekend Friday - Sunday since i got work and school. My role playing not so good so I would like to practice and improve my role playing skills.  If thats all good I would love to play with you guys.

Hello I’m decently new have played a one shot or two but have an understanding of how to play. I just turned 22 and I’m able to play after 4 o’clock on weekdays and 9 o’clock on weekends. I prefer using discord for voice I would like to get used to roll20 but still new to that.

Hey! Do u still have spots on ur group? I am new too. I would like to try to join you guys and learn to play better. I’m a  University student in France, but I sleep fairly late, the time zone difference is not that big of a problem. I’m not French and I have lived in the us so no expecting French accents 😂 Im 24 (soon to be 25), would be available from 19h EST or later.
