Yo I'm PK, they/them, 28, and hoping to play some D&D! I've been on the hunt for a Wildemount game and hey, why not toss up a thread? You may have seen me posting on reddit and roll20 too, don't hurt to try everywhere hey?
Contact: discord is aaathats3as#0420, won't really be looking at my DDB messages or this thread so replies will be slow here Not looking for: rotating DMs, communities, West Marches, play by post Time available: Sun - Fri from 3pm PDT/6pm EDT/5pm CDT. I am Australian so as long as it starts after 8am I'm good to go, I can also start an hour earlier. Platform: roll20 and discord, voice only What you can expect from me: I've already done the Heroic Chronicle for two characters, and love talking with the DM about how to really get my character involved in the world and campaign story. I love interacting with PCs and NPCs, seeing how the world keeps moving both from PC actions and continuing to exist even when a PC isn't looking directly at it. I consider combat another form of roleplay, that may at times become a bit of a straight forward slap fest but it's not something to be completely shunned in favour of RP!
In between sessions I enjoy the opportunity to do some text roleplay, have conversations and other interactions that don't necessarily need to be done in voice because they would exclude others for awhile. I love to buy character art a lot, and you'll see me sitting in the voice channel up to half an hour before the game is meant to start so we can have a gossip before the game starts.
What I expect from the group: To not be jerks lol. Basic etiquette like muting your mic when you're not involved so other noises don't come through, not interrupting the DM constantly or answering rules questions directed at them without prompting, or trying to micromanage other people's characters. Slip ups on pronouns happen at times, gods know I do it, and while I act in good faith I do not want myself or my character to be constantly misgendered. D&D is a show of trust and collaboration, communication is important.
Small update, I'm not free for Sundays due to a friend planning a future campaign, I don't want to jump into yours and have to leave later. Still looking for a game Monday - Friday!
