Hello everyone, I'm a brand new player looking for a group to finally experience DND for myself. I'm a 23 year old dude, I love strategy and long-term progression based games in general, like to play from supporting roles or the first to charge into the fray, but not so much for being a glass cannon. I've watched the entirety of the first critical role campaign and a few other campaigns from other groups and other tabletop games, this does not replace experience by any means, but I imagine it will supplement my learning curve for picking up the game.
I'm open to playing most classes, so if there's a specific role you're looking to fill for a pre-existing group, just let me know and I'll do my best to accommodate.
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: Brand new player, tried to DM with a group of friends years back, needless to say I wasn't up to the task Timezone: PDT (-7GMT) Availability: Extremely available, preferred time-slot would be 4-10PM PDT, but as I said I am widely available as I am without work presently. Preferred role: Player Game style: I'm really into strategy and thinking through problems, I like the idea of role-playing but I won't likely be super intrigued in long role-play-intensive situations. Discord ID: TempestxSalt#8101
You and I sound very similar. Willing to play similar time slots and play styles. I prefer spellcasters or specialty types, currently playing a monk and its tons of fun.
Not a dm, but would be glad to look for you/with you.
Great to hear! Please let me know if you have a group or find one you're interested in joining that may need one more. Also, yeah monks seem really cool because you can specialize them so damn much.
Hey. I'm new to D&D as well. I am not a DM. Role playing is something that would be out of my comfort zone (but will do a little for the sake of the game). I am really into problem solving. So, we have similar game style. If you end up finding a group or a DM that will take us on, I would be up to joining you. (I am usually free Monday, Tuesday, and Friday around those times PST)
