Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: a few years Location/Timezone: GMT +2 (can be altered dependent on day) Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Saturday/Sunday Roles sought: Players (4-6) Game style: Personally i prefer to play darker games but am all for creative play. Hack n' Slash, Dungeon Crawls, campaigns
SO, heres the catch. Due to our recent pandemic the whole world is in chaos. I would love to host a weekly game but Im a South African (exchange rate Wrecks havoc on me) and i may only have a job again in September. I would have to ask a means of upkeep so that i can use all my resources and give everyone the best experience. you can do your research on paid DM's and the benefits but the biggest factor is you only get the most active and involved players which is a bonus for everyone.
if i had to charge 20 USD for a session that would be 4 hours and weekly running set campaigns would it be viable and would people be interested. id run one of the starter stories such as lost mine of Phandelver or the dragon of Icespire peak followed by one of the bigger campaigns From ToA, Curse of Strahd, Decent into Avernus or out of the abyss. if id be able to get more than one group interested i can relook at the figure to make sure its reasonable and i understand that nobody wants to just pay for something that honestly most people could do but split between a full group it wouldn't be too heavy and i know that places like roll20 charge 15USD PER PERSON at the moment. im happy to do a oneshot to show what i can bring going forward and i can promise if this gets traction i will happily do custom maps, weave the narrative and do as much as possible on my end so that its enjoyable. please give me your feedback and opinion and if theres anything i could change. if i could do these games for free i would love to...
