Experienced Player Looking for Immersive Gameplay

Hello! My name is Allen. I've been playing D&D for over 20 years and am looking to kick it with a new group. I'm pretty much a "forever DM" so my request is pretty simple: Please just let me play!!! I like to think of myself as a good DM and I get a lot out of it, but I'm really itching to play a campaign. I can play any character archetype or role desired if necessary. I prefer engaging campaigns with a solid amount of RP and combat strategy. I am a great player to balance out a campaign of newer players because I can help coax them in the right direction if needed without being overbearing. I know what you're going through as a DM so I'm easy to get along with and have in your campaign! Also, I don't metagame. That just takes the fun away from the game.Thanks!
