Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: 12 years, most of which has been spent as a DM. My current campaign will be celebrating it's third year come September. Location/Timezone: Washington/PDT Availability: Sunday-Thursday: evenings | Friday: all day (8 am+) Preferred role: Player Game style: A balanced mixture of roleplay to combat. As a forever DM I'm well-versed in combat but I personally love roleplaying. Looking for an immersive setting that gives players the opportunity to help build the world they play in. Not of fan of polar extreme play styles. Meaning on one side you have "You're going to do this because I'm the DM and it's my game and I'm going to railroad RP moments to further my agenda because this is what I have planned out" and on the other "I'm going to sit back and allow my players to do whatever they like and not intervene when a player is obviously uncomfortable with the scenario".
Additional notes
I adore homebrew whether it be setting, race, class, spells, etc. and will be more than happy to assist in balancing if anybody needs it.
I am queer and while it's not a requirement that a campaign be helmed/played exclusively by other members of our community, I would prefer that those involved be LGBTQ+ friendly and at the very least be respectful of preferred pronouns and the like.
I have several pre-made characters that I would love to see come to life but am 100% okay with making someone new to better fit a setting.
The new group we've formed is looking for a great DM. Right now we are four players, one woman and three men.
I am married with two children but have been a champion of progressive causes for most of my adult life.
LGBTQ discussions have not come up yet, but we have established a climate of mutual respect where all voices are welcome. I also think the group you join should be also be welcoming of who you are. You'll have to judge for yourself.
If you are interested in exploring this further, hit me up on discord at VukTheKraken#3750. If you have issues with the request let me know and I share my email address.
I greatly appreciate your response however I'm currently looking for a campaign to join, not to DM. I've spent most of my D&D experience portraying the role of the narrator and I'd really like to step beyond the DM screen for once. If that weren't the case I'd definitely inquire more about your game. I hope you find a perfect DM for your campaign.

Haus,
We are looking for one more player as well! Nothing ventured nothing gained....hehe. I think you should at least check it out. No pressure though.
No matter what--I hope you find what you are looking for.
