Beginner looking for group

I am new to D&D (got into it from watching campaign 2 of Critical Role), I've played a homebrew campaign with my friends online but all of us were also completely new and weren't too sure on how to do things exactly. I'm hoping to join another group to be able to learn more about how this all works exactly and to just have fun! The combat system interests me so while I do like more roleplay based scenarios, I'd be more than happy to join a more combat heavy session as well. 

I'm looking for a new group of players to run a campaign for, if you're interested. I would want to a run a couple of one-shot sessions first, just so you could see if my DMing style works for you.

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online (Roll20) or F2F (preferably online for the foreseeable future)
Experience: 3 years DMing (inconsistently, due to scheduling conflicts)
Location/Timezone: California PST
Availability: M-F: 6-10pm, Sat: Anytime, Sun: 7-11am, 4-9pm
Roles sought: Any roles acceptable, but no Evil or Chaotic Neutral PCs. Prefer to have PCs discuss character concepts before Session 0.
Game style: I like to have a solid mix between combat and RP; clever solutions to problems will almost always gain a bonus. DM/Player communication about character development is EXTREMELY important.

I’d be interested in joining an online group.  Like the OP I’ve only played a few sessions of a homebrew campaign but have loved every minute so far.

I’m in EST (Michigan) and could easily do M-F nights with the 6-10pm PST schedule.

I originally played a chaotic neutral character but could theoretically change the PC’s alignment slightly if it’s a problem.
