New Player Looking For Beginner/Tutorial session in hope of Learning

So I'm completely New to D&D and i would love to start of but it's way harder to find a group where i could learn without going into deep water with danger of destroying the campaign that's why i'm posting this here in hope of finding a group like this . I do get the basic concept of creating a character with the help of D&D beyond character sheet creator and i looked on Roll20 for some beginner groups with no result .

i'm kinda new but my dad has been trying to teach me how to play but he really busy and i have a charter i want to learn the rest of whats needed to play

What exactly are you lot looking to learn?

Did you want a small introductory campaign like one of the starter adventures? (that can take about 6 sessions).. a one off adventure, or just basic knowledge like how the rules interpret what your character wants to do and such?

I am part of a beginner friendly discord group, but recently the two man DM's are going back to work so most of the campaigns are being shortened, and new campaigns may not be starting. However, it's exactly for this type of thing - introducing beginner players to D&D 5th edition.

@Theonar Firstly sorry for a late reply , So i guess more like a small introductory campaign , just to have the basic idea how it does play out and to get confident in RP knowledge , nothing big.

Well, the timing is slightly off due to several states opening back up in a limited capacity. We're waiting on how it shakes out to know our DM schedules, but introductory sessions like you want are/were ran fairly often.

Hey HexarRock, I'm one of the DM's for the group that Theonar is talking about.  If you're interested in learning I can easily fit in a one-off session sometime after midnight.  Maybe a short RP session that leads into a 2 or 3 hour dungeon crawl.  

Again this would have to be after midnight "EST" due to me going back to work full time.  Let me know and I'll do what I can to help you out.
