Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online probably would be easiest to find, but if there is a group around Boston, I would be interested Experience: Relatively new, I played when I was a teenager, but it was very casual and focused mainly on the storytelling and not the rules Location/Timezone: Boston, MA, EST Availability: Available week nights from 5-9 pm EST or 21-1 UTC Preferred role: Player Game style: I have always played very casual focusing more on the adventure and fun, rather than the strict rules. We mainly used our dice for combat, saving, or checks, but rarely enforced every rules for every moment. I would still be interested in learning more about the rules and going down that role more. I am not interested in dressing up or becoming that character for the entire time, being able to step out and ask questions outside of character is better for me.
big magic? long story? big items? engaging story? big swords? casual conversation? big shields? Focused gameplay? mini-maxing? massive treasure piles? difficult traps? singular path to success? open sandbox? plans to be the DPS? plans to be support? plans to be the healer? plans to be the tank? dank dungeons? groups of monsters? single bosses? urban exploration of cities? some? none? all? calculated XP? milestone points? maritime combat? aerial assaults? forestial fear? desert danger? small-party quickness? large-party protection? lots of rests? 72 hour stretches of intensity? What kind of story do YOU want to help tell?
My story is currently the Dungeon of the Mad Mage in the 3rd basement with 7th Lvl adventurers. We meet on Wednesdays at 3PM AZ time(yes, I know that is a weird time zone, I am VERY aware) but if you are slightly late we are okay with that.
