I'll keep this short and simple. I am looking for a game I can play online since I am bored. I have been playing for 1 and a half years now. I still have a lot to learn. My last DM and party were a ton of jerks and I got tired of them, because of that I can be combative sometimes but I will work on that. I have a few characters ready to play with and I hope I can join someone's group. Have a great day/night/whenever it is. Stay safe and stay cool.
While I can't say the warning of combativeness is your best selling point, I do understand leaving a group. My concern is that if the entire group were jerks, it might not have been them. Let's move past that for now and see if you might need a different area to have fun.
What are you hoping to get out of D&D?
big magic? long story? big items? engaging story? big swords? casual conversation? big shields? Focused gameplay? mini-maxing? massive treasure piles? difficult traps? singular path to success? open sandbox? plans to be the DPS? plans to be support? plans to be the healer? plans to be the tank? dank dungeons? groups of monsters? single bosses? urban exploration of cities? some? none? all? calculated XP? milestone points? maritime combat? aerial assaults? forestial fear? desert danger? small-party quickness? large-party protection? lots of rests? 72 hour stretches of intensity? Gods saving you? Running on unproven faith? devilish deals? paying the consequences? romance written in? racial discussion? Slavery of bestial races? Elemental enervation? Cruelty?
What kind of story do YOU want to help tell?
My story is currently the Dungeon of the Mad Mage in the 3rd basement with 7th Lvl adventurers. We meet on Wednesdays at 3PM AZ time(yes, I know that is a weird time zone, I am VERY aware) but if you are slightly late we are okay with that.
I personally am ok with any type of story and I will just try to help whatever story along and the thing is I live in Arizona so I can fit that schedule easy. I would just like a chance mostly to be in a more supportive and kind party. As long as I can play though I will be happy. I would just need to know what character I should make to meld the best with the party or what you don't have so I can be that class.
Edit: Sorry for the very late reply my Wifi cut out on me which rarely happens and I hope your campaign goes well even if I can't join.
I would be down for that and I can try to help the Cleric and I joined the discord. I would need to be told how Roll20 works because I have an account but idk how to work the site.

Do we match?

I am between Arrowhead Mall and MetroCenter, near Imperial Outpost Games(Football field distance?). Nice to meet you!
We currently have a lone life cleric lost in the 3rd level of the dungeon.
When Covid19 ends, you should come hang out at our WVUU D&D game at the church at 5904 W Cholla in Glendale, so we can meet in person!
We would be using Discord for Voice/(Video if we use video). https://discord.gg/hn3SXej
We would be using DnDBeyond(This site) for sheets.
We would be using Roll20 for maps.
We would be using the Beyond20 extension for Chrome/Firefox to send DnDBeyond rolls to Roll20.
