Experienced player looking to try online d&d. Pacific standard

Hi! I started playing in 1989 and fell in love with Ravenloft. I switched to DM for a year and then military, college and family happened in the 90s.

I've kept up with the 5e introduction and currently have the players and dms handbooks plus the Curse of Strahd.

I'm looking to give this a try and I'm very enthusiastic about my character I've created here: a monster fighting MASKED LUCHADOR (Monk)!

I look forward to hearing from you and learning more and more about this style of gaming.

Is it ok if I'm new to DnD but got the gist of it?
