The Setting:

This campaign takes place in a world similar to ours. Some time before the turn of the century, the fundamental laws of our universe buckled under some exotic strain. Magic, power, a creatures of myth surged through the breach. A current of chaos and change sweeps over the world. Much of humanity wrestles to keep its head above the surface while a few have recognized this as a period of unparalleled potential.

The DM:

I have run countless number of one-shots, as well as a few shorter campaigns. So far, however, I have never managed to find players that are willing to stick with a long-form story. I deeply desire to construct a world that endures, one with meaningful events, characters, and bonds. I am flexible in the way sessions are held. Play-By-Post and Live Sessions both have a number of advantages. I would like to employ both to tell our story. I am in Mountain Time zone, but am flexible with my schedule.

The Players:

I don't care about experience. I care about effort. This world will have depth. I want players that are willing to engage with this world, set goals, make plans and solve problems. I hope for players that have some experience with RP, but again, experience is easily second to desire. I want players who really want to be here. Lastly, I am looking for players that will make an effort to regularly attend sessions. Again, all I really care about is effort. If folks are putting in the effort, I am willing to get very flexible and creative when it comes to fitting players in.

 The Tools:

This part is very flexible, up to the players. We will likely use Discord for any Play-By-Post. Live sessions can be done in Discord / Roll20 / TTS. I prefer Play-By-Post, simply because most audio-sharing programs don't seem to hold up well to groups of people talking over each other, and cross-talk is important for RP.

Hey i've been playing dnd for about 5 years now and would love to join your campaign, I've been doing heavy rp campaigns for a while and I love going into character, I have a bunch of characters lined up and I could help the newer players if they needed it and I usually just play around the group to let the new people kind of take lead so they can have a full hands on experience

Experience: Around 15 or so sessions but a lot of research and character making so i know my way around the game. (5e)

Play style: I enjoy the role play aspect, but if the dm is a hardcore encounter dm, i can build some strong more optimized characters while still being able to create funny situations.
