Group preferred: online (ftf when it is safe to do so)
Experience: new-ish
Location/Timezone: Dallas, Texas (CST/GMT-6)
Preferred role: player
Game style: I'm looking for a casual game to help me learn the ropes, as well as pick up tips and tricks to being a good DM. I casually DM for my extended family friday nights, so in a pinch i can DM
Extra info: I'm 28, with a wife and kid so a late-ish night game is easiest to make for me but I have some schedule flexibility, I am willing to play any role necessary to fill party, although my preferred character archetypes are typically melee damage dealers. I do have a discord/roll20
Okay, I've had terrible luck with this so far, but it should work this time, right? Right?
Here's the campaign:
Group is level 2. Horns from the heavens. Nobody knows what's going on. Party has done some rather standard mundane adventurer stuff. Starting to get into campaign details. Pretty weird.
Homebrew Campaign run off Discord. Usually text only, sometimes voice chat. Good group.
Looking for 1 more player, as we've had bad luck with some newbies.
Let me know your interest and if you seem like a fit, I'll give you the Discord server info.
Currently, we are playing tonight, but usually play Saturday nights from 10pm to 12 am CST. We get a lot done in a short time and it's a regular weekly game.
We have an animal loving monk, an aasimar rogue, and a half-elven wizard, and a 4th who hasn't introduced his character yet.
Sorry for the long wait on my response, life you know? haha. Yes, I am very interested interested! I'm a lvl 5 goliath barbarian(damage dealer) that i've used as a mercenary/hireling for my family's campaign(I'm the DM) I will be a little OP with my current character but can make a character that that fills the group out, if requested. what roles are the characters playing(Damage Dealing, Tank, Healer)
Frankly, they could use a cleric. Currently, we have a wizard, rogue, monk, and now a ranger and artificer. The group wants the party upwards of 6 players.

not my usual play style but I'm willing to learn hahaha
do I have to be a cleric or can I be a druid since it has healing capabilities, as well as other useful spells and abilities?
